Clutch vs TL, Clutch vs CLG, and now TL vs C9.

All three of those series kind of ended on a sour note just because of how one-sided the last game was after so much back-and-forth the whole way.

I mean, I like Liquid and they have proven they deserve to be where they are and they were able to finally undo the Curse of Fourth with The Blessing of Fourth. It's just... after all that, I wanted one last slugfest instead of C9 having their face stomped into the mud and being reminded of how depressing their history is and continues to be, domestically speaking.

Feels... anti-climactic.

Yeah. Game 5 this year was rough. Unfortunately it's bad for viewership in future series as well. Not sure what RIOT can do to fix it, but it's a problem for sure. Spending 5-6 hours watching League throughout the day to finish with that? It's similar to watching 6 seasons of Game of Thrones and then finishing with Season 7 and 8. RIP

To be fair all games were one sided with the exception of game 4.

I'm seriously tired of C9 getting so close only to choke. It's consistent, which is worrying. Choking should not be consistent. TL is good, but to me it's like watching the Patriots win another super bowl. It gets boring and incredibly frustrating. You get this hope, only to be dashed again and again. I like games that feel like either side could win, so just getting stomped is sad and boring.

Yeah it's just super frustrating to watch because it feels like Clutch and C9 (the latter as usual) just chokes in game 5 and just refuse to pull it together to close the series out before then.

EDIT: Thinking about it now the Clutch situation in the semis and bronze matches could just be coincidental this year, at least at this point in time anyways.
