Worlds Missions: Am I locked from anything?

Haven't played on this account for probably...5, 6 months? Anyway, log in and I CLEARLY am way too late to do any Pick 'Ems (thus, what is the point of even showing me that I have said mission since it is literally impossible at this date) so I'd just like to ask if that particular mission locks away anything relevant or do I just do the 'watch a game' and the ranked wins and I just continue on my way without needing to fret about anything?
