I mean, if you want this as a sport, Riot, You should start treating it like every other sport and honor the three top contenders. That includes a faceoff between the two teams that didnt make it to the final.

When you say "every other sport" its really just World Cup Soccer and the Olympics that have people play to determine 3rd place. I like how in boxing, judo, taekwondo and wrestling just award 2 bronze medals for 3rd and 4th in the Olympics. I'd say that is what they should do here I guess imo.
I have never seen a professional sport do that.
Edit: don't know why I'm being downvoted for stating that I've never seen a professional sport play for 3rd place when the majority of the sports in the US don't play for 3rd.

Most sports don't care about second and third place. They only care about the champions.
