"Pushing advantage" Please Riot, do NOT implement!

@Riot: I am glad you did not roll this one out and i sincerely hope you will postpone it indefinitely. As it is, league snowballs enough without the minions getting empowered through level advantage. All you obtain is to have teams that are ahead snowball even harder. There will not be crazy comeback stories anymore. Forget 4v5 wins. and in case of an early game afk, the "pushing advantage" will set in early game.

How can you justify this? What is your thought process behind this change? (kind of hoping for an actual answer from a Rioter to this one!)

My justified fear is that people will be even more prone to surrender early, once this is put in place!

I HOPE people surrender more. I like how this patch is going now. Accoridng to someone no one surrender because you loose more LP. If so they should change it to the same. I sometimes play games where they tripple our score and no one surrenders. Even I have someone afk and they double our score and people still don't surrender. Its a complete waste of time to try to play the game out. A huge problem with league is the fact that the games are very long. For example, CSGO ranked games are ATLEAST 45 minutes long average about an hour or so. THOUGH there are other things you can play that takes in place of the ranked games in csgo since they are leavable. In league the only short game is 3v3(It may even be long) and aram. It does not simulate a 5v5 ranked game. Since this is a MOBA game, the only way is to make the games shorter.

What I do not like is " MINION DAMAGE BONUS If your team's average level is higher than the enemy's, your minions deal 10% bonus damage to enemy minions. If you've taken cumulatively more turrets than the enemy team, damage is further increased by 10% for each turret you have over your opponents. " because the minion damage bonus can change when someone backs to fountain ect.

Even though snowballing is much easier a lot of people are not looking at the opposite side. You can punish a lot harder. Towers are weaker and theres bounty. It evens it out

Agreed, this last patch has made the game snowball so hard it's impossble to make a comeback at all. And they want to make it worse?

I watched the video where they explained the reasoning behind doing this. It is "to increase the number of team fights". They want teams to win by having team fights, not "farming and waiting the enemy out."

Well Guess what happens if the winning team has stronger minions? Somebody will always have to defend the lane that's being pushed up, while the "winning" team will have a free lane pushing all by itself, and can therefore group more easily.

Which means the winning team is going to be consistently be able to fight 5v3s and 5v4s while the enemy team defends their pushed up lane (being pushed by nothing but minions), giving them an EVEN FURTHER advantage and resulting in absolutely lopsided team fights. The winning team is literally given free reign to roll over the other team without any penalty.

If you want to have more teamfights, this is NOT the way to do it. Not even close.

Unfortunately, as quick as games on live are, 20 minutes isn't an early surrender, half the games are over by then. The 30+ minute game is the rarity. If the minion changes go live they'll need to lower the surrender timer or the winning team will probably kill your nexus before 20.

You do realize this is an advantage to the losing team if they are able to farm regularly, due to them not having to worry about pushing out a lane until they are even with their opponents.

You understand that in a 4v5 the team of 4 will have level advantage due to not having to share exp among the extra person (it goes a long ways) and this will then balance the game out by giving them stronger minions to supplement the missing team mate?

this actually can help the losing team in some situations. the winning team has to go deep to get any farm because their minions autopush.

i played a game yesterday where my team was losing but i got to about 250 cs at 25 minutes farming almost exclusively under turret while their team wasnt farming at all. i became unstoppable and we came back and won.
