Thank You TSM (Spoiler)

Their Worlds failure notwithstanding, what TSM did this split represents the first step down a path that is necessary if NA is to become a competitive region. Even if they fell short at the end, they sacrificed easy money to practice hard and become one of the best Western teams ever.

If you want more details on this opinion, check out what MonteCristo said here, as I think it's spot-on: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aKPlythogic

If NA is truly to become a strong region, we'll need other teams to follow in TSM's footsteps. The more good teams we have, the more they'll drive each other towards constantly improving levels of play, and equip each other with the high-level experience needed to improve on the world stage.

So thank you TSM for taking that step. I hope you will inspire other teams not to give up, but to do the same.

So the best NA team ever can't beat 2 mediocre Asian teams or an EU team when EU is at its weakest since the game was released. What does that say about us? That we will never win. Stop trying.

Yeah, I dunno.

For all their talk about the big changes they made to focus on being an internationally viable team, in the end they did the same thing they always do: Hyper focus so much on being Best NA they get trapped by that particular meta and are unable to adapt to something new when facing other regions.

So much negativity from people. TSM under-performed but they had so much pressure on them. If more teams do what TSM has done than more NA teams will improve and help to make the region as a whole better. Korean and Chineses teams are used to facing excellent competition in their leagues and learn to deal with the pressure there and International events are almost a step down for them. Whereas a really good NA team, like TSM, just roflstomps everyone at home and isn't accustomed to being really challenged.

This was really NA's last chance at possibly winning any sort of international trophy or making any noise at WORLDS. NA is done I mean look at the new talent that is in NA now (Hard-Moon-BIg-Matt-Fabbyy) just garbage players.
Don't waste your time watching any sort of NA LCS or League of Legends E-sports unless you like seeing the same story being played over and over again.
