Already 20 v 6 and when C9 gets one lucky kill, everyone screamed & cheered like there's no tomorrow & starts chanting "LET'S GO C9!". Like, did you guys noticed the 0/6 & 0/5 bot laners yet?
I mean C9 is an NA team, and their in Chicago...
Any other competitive scene the exact same things happens. People are simply going to cheer for the "locals."

If you go abroad its the same thing. The only team that doesn't experience that is TSM since they established fans worldwide; maybe SKT as well. C9 is the hometown favorites. If you play football in one state, you'd expect to hear the homestate chant rather than the visitor chant.
