Last Week's wrong/right predictions Right answers CLG def FQ
FQ def TL
NV def EF
TSM def TL
TSM def P1
NV def C9
6 out of 10 correct picks Underdog - Immortals - Predicted them to lose 0-2 last week, instead went 2-0 !

Cloud 9 vs Phoenix One The last 2/3 weeks C9 have been a mess to say the least, they're not all on the right page and it's getting dangerous as they could possibly miss playoffs if they don't improve and fast. P1 seems to be back to their ol' losing selves again and it's frustrating seeing a talented roster fail so much and having so a down split after looking like a top tier team no more than a split ago. C9 are ranked 3rd in towers destroyed while P1 are 9th, so the fast pace will be on C9's side, but when games are fast is actually when P1 looks good, however, 9th in both dragons secured and barons for P1 will most likely be their down fall. Winners Cloud 9 2-0

Team Liquid vs Team Envyus Once again TL gets a decent lead and chokes it away like they always do, how many times will they keep getting these 3-0 kill leads, 1-2 tower leads and just not do anything with those such leads ? TL isn't a team that takes chances or really does much on the O side of the game, 10th in the categories( Kills(9.9), Towers destroyed(4.6), Towers lost(8.4), Dragons(1.43) and Barons(0.39) per game. While on the opposite side we have NV, who to be fair isn't a team that does things on the wind, but instead takes their time ( 1st in the league in average game time 38.05 mins per game) however even with a "ok" roster besides Lira NV doesn't actually die much (1st in deaths 10.3) while being the 8th team with the most kills per game, while also being middle tier team with objectives. The upside is honestly Hakuho who's giving so much vision for NV that they can play safe, for 39 mins and get certain objectives to win, very Memphis Grizzlies type of team NV are, they don't score many points but they keep the opposing team from scoring too.
Winner Team Envyus 2-1

Team Solomid vs Dignitas This could be a finals hype if Dig keeps this winning mentality up, since Adrian joined DIG looks much better and so has the team. The question is, can Keane hold his own against Bjergsen; Keane's stats against TSM/Bjergsen in 20 games 52 Kills, 47 Deaths and 72 Assists ( 2.6 2.3 3.6) now too far off from Keane's stats this split 2.8 2.1 4.9
If DIG are going to beat TSM, they need to play fast and objective focused considering TSM are #1 in Towers Destroyed, Towers kept alive, Dragons and Barons, while DIG are 1-2 steps below that. Winner Team Solomid 2-1

Counter Logic Gaming vs Echo Fox The best team at kills per game CLG( 15.4) against the 9th best team(10.8) Echo Fox. This could be a stump for CLG, but which CLG are we going to get and same can be said about Echo Fox. CLG are top tier at Kills and getting and saving towers but when it comes to the beef of objectives they seem to just fumble the ball more times than not. Winner Counter Logic Gaming 2-1

FlyQuest vs Immortals FlyQuest the last 4 game series as an average of 39 mins per game, nothing too high but considering they actually looked better in those longer games oppose to the games that they just get dunked on, it could be a strategy for them, however it most likely won't be. Hai just doesn't seem like a player with patience honestly, which ever team Hai is on tends to be in the average shortest games among the other teams- with the exception of this split in which their 3rd longest game time in the league. Another thing to look at for FQ is how everyone runs around protecting Hai, we all remember when Hai was at top and Balls TP, Moon etc and they got liked triple killed- which either means Hai was saying " Help, we can win" in which 5th in Kills(12.2) but 1st in the league with deaths(16.1) means that FQ don't seem to know what to do at any stage of the game. For Immortals they have so much patience that it's actually nice to watch a team not focus on things out of their control but instead just plays until the job is DONE. Don't let the "slow and methodical" style fool you tho, Immortals are 10th in longest average game time(35 mins per game) so they know what they're doing. Winner Immortals 2-1

Phoenix One vs Team Liquid The two worst objective focused teams will do battle and honestly I have no idea who's going to win. Team liquid with Inori looks 10X better than with Reignover in which he and TL tries to stall out games as long as possible so Piglet has enough time for items because he can carry this meta( forget about 2015(Spring/Summer), 2016(Spring/Summer), 2017(Spring), continued ....) the KOREAN IS HERE. DAH DHA DHA ! Very inappropriate sorry, to be fair Piglet and Matt are doing as much as they can to help TL but TL just keeps on shooting themselves in the foot, Matt #1 among all players 78.9% in kill participation with a team ranked 10th in Kills only (9.9) so the problem isn't 100% his fault, and Piglet is 2nd among all ADC's in kill participation. The problem might honestly be Piglet, but if TL stays together they need a player that is so aggressive to actually give the other remaining players confidence to go in such fights. Goldenglue is looking better and at times he's showing the he wants to continue fighting but gets pulled back by his team, 50% of the time it's a good idea, the other 50% of the time it's needed when TL doesn't do anything. Winner Team Liquid 2-1

Dignitas vs Cloud 9 Jensen is getting around 5.2 Kills per game which is close to half of what C9 are getting as a team 13.5 kills per game, which in turns means either A. Jensen gets kills but at what cost or B. The other members on C9 are lack of a better word " Sucking" Going to have to say ..... both Have the time Jensen looks like he doesn't know what the F to do and the remaining members on C9 look just as lost. The past week looked like C9 vs Samsung Galaxy at words at how much Sneaky was getting caught out, Jensen being unproductive other than just getting random KDA/cs stats(Rekkles), against a team like DIG who are looking better especially at the support position in which in turn also falls on Smoothie's lap as someone that needs to step up in either helping Sneaky since Smoothie had 8 kills in 5 games oppose to Sneaky who had 11 kills in 5 games but it's ok cause 68 combined assists means they can do S$it but still get carried for the most part, while doing nothing in bot lane. Winner Cloud 9 2-1

Echo Fox vs Team Solomid If EF had Froggen I would be interested in this match, honestly if EF seemed to know what they're doing half the time I would be more interested but sadly the Echo "Jaguars" -Mye, seem to just be 9th/10th time after time again these days Winner Team Solomid

Counter Logic Gaming vs Immortals It seems Immortals made the better decision and honestly looking at Dardoch now, I don't blame them. Dardoch at times is too aggressive for his own good, CLG needed a more aggressive style once NA became a faster paced region than previous years but it seems they cut out the strategy, methodical, and smart plays from their arsenal.
CLG the #1 kills team vs the #2 kills team IMT CLG the #6th team in deaths vs the #5th team in deaths IMT This could be a very competitive series, but the pressure will be on Stixxay as the last time CLG and IMT faced he posted up 0 kills and 6 deaths in the 0-2 lose to Immortals Winner Counter Logic Gaming 2-1

Team Envyus vs FlyQuest Vision is key in this match up and it's fall under Lemon and Hakuho responsibilities, Hakuho is #1 among active supports with at least 10 games played in wards placed(1.54 per min) while Lemon is dead last in such ( 1.29 per min). Hakuho is #1 in wards cleared while Lemon isn't too far off either (0.56 for Hak, 0.37 for Lemon) and the same can be said about Apollo and Turtle in which Apollo is higher than Turtle in such things wards, vision wards, wards cleared etc.
Wildturtle is also higher than Apollo in getting first blooded, but has more solo Kills than Apollo tho, so expect Lemon to back at some point, leaving Turtle alone in lane and expect him to go 1v2 Rambo mode to either get a double kill, 1 kill or just die. Winner FlyQuest 2-0

Thank You

A simple question; why do you predict so many 2-1 victorys. I agree with your predictions and think that without upsets these are the most likely winners.

I am confused slightly. You mention two weaknesses of CLG compared to IMT, and none of IMT to CLG, yet predict a CLG win without a reason why.
