EU gauntlet?

So I know NA a bit, but I don't know EU standings last split. If Origen takes second is it even possible for them to auto qualify? (I assume H2K will have most points if they are third) How high can they make it in the gauntlet? Are they guaranteed to have to play multiple matches or is there a chance they make 1st in the gauntlet and only have to beat 1 team?

The LCS Worlds points gained so far: FNC: 90 UoL: 70 H2K: 50 SK: 30 (voided by being in a relegation spot) Gambit: 10 (can be voided) CW: 10 (voided by being in a relegation spot)

The last week of the EU LCS (aka my predictions): CW > GIA (The 9th place dream) H2K > GMB EL > SK (THE 9TH PLACE DREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAM) ROC > OG FNC > UOL

In this situation, the playoffs would be: (LOCKED IN means that the team will be in that place no matter how the last day goes) Round 1: UOL (LOCKED IN) vs EL H2K (LOCKED IN) vs ROC Round 2: FNC (LOCKED IN) vs UOL (probably) OG (LOCKED IN) vs H2K (probably) 3rd Place: H2K > UOL (probably) Finals: FNC > OG

Worlds: Fnatic qualifies for winning the split. H2K qualifies from most points (120).

UOL has 110 points. OG has 90 points. EL has 20 points. ROC has 20 points. Gambit has 10 points (but doesn't qualify for the tourney).

UOL has the top seed. OG needs to beat the winner of EL vs ROC, and then UOL to get to Worlds.

Sorry for having such a long explanation.

There is only two ways for Origen to auto-qualify.

  1. They get 1st in playoffs, which is pretty much impossible.

  2. They finish 2nd, and H2k finish 4th or worse, which is actually quite possible since h2k have been making slip-ups lately. Edit: UOL would also have to finish 5th/6th, I forgot to mention. * Eventhough they would be tied in circuit points is h2k finish 4th, I believe the rules state that whoever finishes higher in summer gets the seed.

Technically they could qualify even if they finish in 2nd place in summer playoffs, but it would require multiple conditions to meet to do it so

  1. Fnatic must obviously win the summer playoffs
  2. Uol does not have to place among top 4 teams
  3. H2k does not have to place among top 3 teams

In the end, this is very unlikely to happen. it would mean that Uol must lose quarterfinals, and H2k must lose quartefinals too or, after being beaten by the same Origen, they must lose the 3rd place final against the team that has defeated Uol and has lost vs Fnatic
