We send over P1 and even THEY won games. No one even though that P1 would win anything, but EU finds a way.

Every international tournament does have something for everyone really. It'd be pointless for a team to go into and walk out of a tournament learning nothing from the experience.

It just so happens that Europe and mostly fans took a heavy reality check to their egos following the MSI run. That's what I could take away from it. The reasoning of using P1 however; I disagree. This went way beyond P1.

Thinking P1 wouldn't do much considering NA/team from NA typically does better when the spotlight isn't on them. C9 from 2015, CLG MSI/Worlds etc. NA's #2 and #3 teams does more than expected from the "experts"

G2 Esports - Right now G2 needs to just get back to form, they're a good team with Mithy's shotcalling, and steady lanes with Zven/Perkz but at times they can either

A. Trolling - This became something that I noticed 2 weeks before Worlds, Zven a player that I didn't think was " Perkzing" -Trolling, and laughing 24/7 whenever in Q/solo Q would get outplayed and would just "laugh it off", but he did however, Zven wasn't the same young prospect that he once was, he had experience with his OG days and his talent/skill/work ethic took a back seat whenever he did play. Since, i'v never felt like Zven really deserved his spot on any OP top 5/ top ADC outside of EU.

B. Expect/Trick - It's so obvious that Trick is pretty much doing exactly what Reignover did with Huni; camp topside, however he's camping the worst player on G2, now either G2 are trying to sub that with either get the weakest player ahead and have the stronger players work with him - instead of the weaker player working with the stronger players and Trick to get them ahead.
Expect's TP plays are something to not be admired at. This was shown also during Worlds 2016 where G2 would be getting dove, flanked etc and he's still at top farming and would still TP in late as F$$$ and get smashed 1v5 style.

C. Zven/Mithy - I haven't really seen much from them,( I HAVEN'T watched all of MSI yet, but hopefully I do) but for the most part G2's botlane does nothing all game, or at least in the lane phase, they just go even every time it seems.

D. Vision - It seems G2 doesn't need vision to still win Eu, Zven's warding is really bad, I'll get the exact # later but it's not good.

  • I'll talk about the other teams in another post

People who believed P1 wouldn't win games is more a problem with these people, rather than with P1. At the start of the split they looked very bad yes, but since bringing in Mike Yeung and Xspecial 3 weeks ago, they look a lot better. Had they started with this line-up, they would definitely have been top4-5. I would even go as far as calling them on-par with C9 at the moment. People just can't shake of the poor performance of P1 from the start of the split.
