Samsung Blue won champions in season 4, came to worlds and gets beat by Samsung White. Fnatic wins LCS and then comes to worlds and OG (who is pretty close to Fnatic honestly w/ 2 former Fnatic players and an ADC that was picked up when Yellowstar recommended they check him out) is looking to take a first seed out of groups, while Fnatic may take second.

Is the Fnatic/OG story going to be this year's SSB/SSW story? Hype

Edit: Forgot that KTA won champions summer and blue was the split before that if I remember right. Also since it is apparently unclear the reference is to similar (almost sister teams) being some of/the most dominant teams in their region and then coming to worlds showing up w/ flipped order of strength between the sister teams. The reference isn't to SSW's tournament run or level of play last year bc even SKT isn't up to that I think and SKT looks like the best team in the tournament.

Only if OG wins the whole tournament. And even still its not the best comparison as SSB actually lost to KTA in the summer OGN, while FNC actually won the Summer LCS in EU.

It's not very common for #1 seeds to not be all their made out to be in worlds, we see this every year where a "weaker" team from a region comes in and makes more of an impact on worlds the "stronger" team from that region.
