Did you really think that's what the OP was saying? SSW vs SSB was a semi that decided the winner, just like Najin vs SKT was a semi that decided the winner, but there's nothing in the original post about OG/FNC winning the tournament, and I'd be surpirsed if they meet in the semis (possible though) bc Fnatic moves forward if they daw CLG/Koo, but if they draw SKT/OG then FNC/OG won't be a semi game imo bc FNC will go out in quarters. The post is about the fact that OG is the closest thing to a sister team that will probably ever exist since the end of the 2 team system, and it is cool to see two teams that were dominant in their region (SSW/SSB were dominant in KR that season even if KTA took summer split) come in and have that flip in strength from the regional split vs worlds. I think anyone who bets against SKT on something other than maybe EGD turning it around (they did between LPL playoffs and regional qualifiers, so it could definitely be a diff team between groups and finals) is making a fairly unlikely bet. OG/FNC might be a semi, but that's the best the run would be imo (still way more than expected). Even then they'd need good bracket draws if OG finishes first and FNC finishes second (FNC only has one group to draw if they want a semis match vs OG and SKT and C9 have to be the same side of of the bracket).
Edit: Also not a huge fan of FNC or OG honestly. Kind of run out of teams to root for and I'd probably say I root for FNC a bit bc it was cool to see Yellowstar reinvent the team, but they're still EU and not NA so I'm not a huge fan. Hell I might even like SKT/KOO more than FNC bc I really like Marin as a player and am glad to see him having success, and I think it's awesome how KOO was made by players cut when the organizations had to consolidate to one team, and they've had pretty good success locally which was really cool.
