Could This Be The Year For NA? (2016) (NA LCS)

Hello everyone, today I wanted to touch on the subject of NA hopes and dreams. As a NA player, like other regions they want theirs to be the best! With all that in motion when I look at NA this year I get that feeling and this isn't the same old feeling as in NA can do it this time, it's more like when I look at it overall can NA actually make a BIG IMPACT at worlds this time? This isn't about saying, "hey we'll win" type of thing but more so as will NA be a threat or will NA not have the Group Stage Curse. When you look at it overall this year and how all the teams are really good and is very competitive this year around by just how all the teams that used to reign supreme before in NA are hanging out in the 2nd-5th place on leader boards. I know that Immortals is number 1 and that they could be one team that is a supreme team, but they are new and don't have the long history like the other teams do that have been here for the longest of time in NA. When I look at EU, this is just my opinion and this isn't me being a NA fanboy or anything along those lines but I feel that EU doesn't look as strong this year as they usually do with their signature team FNATIC. And with so many people from other regions coming to NA and making such good teams this year in NA, I honestly feel with** Immortals/C9/CLG/TSM** (if 3 of those 4 make it to Worlds) possibly going to Worlds and looking for that REAL impact in worlds this time is maybe something that NA wants all along and not to be considered just a "Clown Fest" or anything like that. And since we now have a power house team like Immortals that look super scary then maybe something can happen. Year after year of the heart breaks of NA failing like 2015 where NA had good groups but choked on the days where they played 3 games in 1 day. I hope that my words do not come back to bite me as in, NA does it's worst this year or key players leave before Worlds causing collateral damage across the team messing up team chemistry and communication. This is just my opinions and thoughts of NA's progress and potential this year. I hope to hear from a lot of you sharing your thoughts or ideas of how NA could do this year at Worlds. Thank you. item 3078

Honestly, apart from immortals, I wouldn't back any of the other teams against either vitality or h2k from eu. Thing is, apart from immortals(who are the fnc of this year), Eu's top 6 would win a majority of games vs Na's top 6, and before you say I'm an Eu fanboy, I honestly don't care about both regions, more of an LCK type of guy.

Some NA teams seem to be playing with more conviction this year. Probably due to the humble pie they ate last year. It may or may not matter - we shall see.

Most NA teams are pretty bad compared to the rest of the world. You just don't realize it because when you put a bad team against a bad team no one gets punished for their mistakes as hard as they should be. Immortals might have a chance, but even they have been making some pretty bad mistakes.
