Give it to Xmithie already. The man has shown time and again that he is nigh-untiltable, a prince of thieves for smite battles, and 100% a TEAM player.

Who's the last person you want to 50/50 baron against in lcs? Probably Xmithie. Who regularly turns around a losing start to his jungle pathing into an xp lead and often gank advantages for his team? Xmithie. Just look at the latest 100 thieves vs tl match. In solo queue you'd be saying ff@15. In pro play, you'd be halfways writing the game off and thinking about tomorrow's match. But no, he gets himself right back in the game. And the thing that makes it so impressive is that he: 1. helps his teammate WHILE doing this and 2. doesn't require teammates the major sacrifices so many other junglers would in order to catch himself back up; he "pulls himself up by his own bootstraps".

Oh, and he can play a decently diverse champion pool - which I personally believe seems somewhat limited moreso because of his team needing him to fill a certain role in their team comp rather than because that's all he is capable of playing.

To me, being all those things is far more impressive than someone who gets fed every advantage by their team until they are far enough ahead to self-snowball and carry from there. Too many mvp candidates fit into this category. I'm not saying it's not impressive, just that it's less so than those who make their own advantages while playing for their teammates while having to come back from some really tough starts to the game.

It's four minutes into the game - and your first camp is wolf. But somehow, the next clip in the highlight is him ganking bot lane, EVEN xp and farm about 9 minutes later.

Take a second look at their loss against FLY in previous weeks - he also played kindred... to an 0/4 loss. If you watch the game, he did have some bad play, but the game was lost somewhat around him. When his teammates, and their personalities, are pressured beyond their normal limits - people talk about FOX? huh - his teammates often fail him. Yet, no matter how much pressure he's under, he never seems to fall totally flat.

Baron steal excluded, it's hard to find anything about Xmithie in particular to award him for, but the title is "most valuable" and for TL he certainly is.
