Miror B2 votesTo which I will neutralize your +1 with a -1 of my own. Let's not forget that last split, dignitas started like 0-7 and Flyquest started near-undefeated. Random sh't happens at the beginning of splits, that doesn't always remain though.

I get your point SKT 0-1, KT 0-1, TSM 1-1, C9 0-2 but all most likely will be in their respective regions' Playoffs etc but lets not look too deep into the crystal ball just yet, because as of right now;
C9 needs Impact to preform to top notch to get C9 out of their 0-2 hole. Jensen is looking frustrated in his player cam and we all know what that means from Jensen. This 0-2 hole really goes back to the Impact situation A. What was he doing in Korea when the LCS was starting? Visa issues ? C9 didn't go to MSI, they had plenty of time for sightseeing. B. C9 would sub Impact out for 10-20 or so games last split to give either Impact a break because he was carrying C9? To give Ray some exp ? If so or both, Impact/C9 now can't afford to sub him out not until they are 5-2 or 6-2 etc in which if he was getting exhausted from carrying them, now it's double trouble in doing so.
TSM looks exhausted even with the return of D-Lift and are already behind in their 17-1 from Summer with already losing a game to a much "lower tier team" in the first week. TSM has a history of starting off 1-1 but taking 3-4 of their next games but facing CLG 2-0 and DIG 2-0 in week 2 they could ( Could ) go 1-3..... (Could) being the key word here.
People wanted League to not be so, predictable and some of the top tier teams starting off in tough holes, situations now should be happy.

III BAKURYU III 1 votesIndeed, Thank you. I was just referring to what some may think SKT wouldn't be a juggernaut still with their first loss going 0-1 and same with KT is all, I knew they are 1-1 as of right now, but for some people SKT going 0-1 to start was like " the sky is falling"
It's just interesting how every team are starting off very shaky, when fans uproared about how repetitive the LCS/League is.

To somehow suggest that teams like SKT/C9/TSM will be easier to beat at worlds because they randomly have one slightly bad week (or in TSM's case, a "TL week") is a bit adorable, as this exact logic defies literally every NA worlds trend that's happened before. I'll now post a list of the records of teams in week 1 of the summer split in each of the past 2 years, and compare it to their worlds record of said year:
2016- CLG, 1-4 in week 1, 3-3 at worlds TSM, 4-0 in week 1, 3-3 at worlds C9, 3-3 in week 1, 3-3 at worlds
2015- CLG, 2-0 in week 1, 2-4 at worlds C9, 1-1 in week 1, 3-4 at worlds TSM, 1-1 in week 1, 1-5 at worlds
Unless I'm missing something, NA has looked pretty bland at worlds aside from C9 regardless of what happens in week 1.

Yeah, FQ started off hot, fell off some but regained their momentum to reverse sweep CLG.
DIG did start off cold, got hot but fell off at the end/playoffs.
A sandwich if you will - We see the bread, some other stuff, meat, pickes/ unexpected stuff/standings etc but sooner or later we will see another piece of bread to wrap it all back up again.

If you want to say liquid is garbage well yeah, I expect them to be. But that is based on more than just the last two games.
If you're going to say a team that won the last split is garbage based upon a 1-1 record the first two games with the same players uh well you're just pulling crap out of your rump.
