Yeah, the problem with a few of those is that they could just decide that korea is going to be too dominant for the next little while and thus not invest immediately, or think they could find more success elsewhere. If I had to make a tier-list of potential NA teams next split, it'd kinda go like this:
"Guaranteed to be in": C9, CLG, DIG, EF (All 4 have sponsorship now and look to actively want to be in the LCS)
"Bubble teams": TSM, IMT, FLY, P1 (TSM looks to need a sponsor fast as otherwise they could suffer a massive case of irony with regi wanting lcs franchising but not being able to afford it, while IMT/FLY/P1 are both pretty new and might not want to be in)
"Most Likely Out": TL, NV (Looking at their roster, TL looks to be in an utter mess with no "franchise players" to build around. Combine this with the fact that their CS:GO teams have had far more success and that steve looks to be wanting to turn TL into an agency of sorts, and I could see them opt out entirely. NV is in a similar boat, as they've been in the league for a little over a year now and don't really look like the team that should put $10m into this when their other teams are doing better)
