Will imt huni use Quinn in upcoming split? Seeing some adc item prices were lowered

Huni has a reputation of being a Top laner who doesn't play tanks( LATELY)

I do see Huni possibly playing Quinn Top but it may not help his ego. He has played Quinn 4 times from my knowledge last split and won 3 of the 4 games but he personally didn't do so good when he did play Quinn.

He just seems like a player that is caught up in his own hype, but well deserved a 2x Eu Split #1st place champion and a 1x NA split #1 champion as well as a 2x EU split Finals champion.

Such a great resume for such a young career in the E-sports scene so he ( MY OPINION) became arrogant in his own hype that he forgot his role and it cost IMM in the playoffs.

Off topic that was back to your question Quinn in lane is a bully and can easily win any lane she is in, However the thing that isn't helpful is that her Ult is a cast off ability(what I name it) so she is standing still for what feels like 3 years and in team fights she can be useless unless she is far enough ahead in kills-items-etc.

LCS is also known for lane swapping so the Top Laner will have to farm 1v2 and she has no real escape other than Vault and her ult but like I said people in the lcs won't let her just stand still for 3 years to cast it to get away.

I think he did pretty good no? Got a penta and then stomped literally every opponent in top besides Darshan Fiora who got ahead of Huni with the camp. Didn't Huni go toe to toe with Echo Fox's Fiora where he stomped her?

I'm not saying he can't play carry Top champions hence why he is Challenjour and I'm S3 all I'm saying is Huni would be wise to change his game play up some as the whole camp Huni till the 45 min mark is getting pretty easy to see though. Hence the 0-3 TSM.

Huni and Reignover has a synergy with each other with Fnatic and Imm. Everyone play passive and safe, while Reignover camps for Huni non stop. Its the TSM strategy but with Top instead of Mid.

First how is this comment above the comment that I made earlier, that you are responding to ?? Meh not matter.

Honestly Xmithie camped for Darshan but Huni was more focused on the cs and he eventually dies to Darshan and Xmithie. Not to mention that Huni was up 20+ cs to Darshan without either ganks for either one and Darshan came back to tie the cs difference.

Huni would just go too far out in every lane to get 1-2 cs and dies.

... I don't know what else to say so, idk but that is my 2 cents on the subject.

So being 20 more cs than Fiora, that means he was playing better than darshan ? I mean like what could have been done so Huni could go toe to toe with fiora and stomp her?

And what is your opinion on how Huni kited fiora? Did it good>?

The range will always get the early upper hand so its no surprise that the Quinn got ahead early on cs against the melee Fiora.

Really not much could be done, its Fiora; her abilities were meant for 1v1 once 6 Fiora can 1v1 just about anyone.
You don't really build tanky on Quinn but if I was Huni instead of buying item 3142 First item I think that is what he bought first, I would have bought item 3053 first for obvious reasons.

He kited Fiora good early when the lane was 50/50 in the middle of the lane but once he started to push and the lane went from 50/50 to 25/75 he had to over extend to cs and believe me he did it alot. Died 1-2 bot lane for cs and died again at top in that game.

All n All He did fine but just not what was needed for the team comp as it marked their first L in the Spring Split.

why not just roam and get kills

why his jungler didint help him kill fiora?

So if Huni got even 1 kill from Fiora, would that mean IMT would win and Huni would take control over fiora?

He didn't roam cause its not creating cs for him that is why he didn't in my mind. Look at Huni's history of games. World championship against C9 instead of helping to defend Cloud 9 off Baron he wanted to get grump and wolves and they lost that match.

Reignover didn't help much cause Xmithie was invading him 24/7 and creating pressure so if Reignover helped you would lose his buffs. Darshan would only go agro when Reignover buffs spawned.

Once the buffs Spawn Darshan would go ham and give Reignover an ultimatum

Help Huni by ganking and the gank will most likely fail as Fiora has a Dash and a Riposte to avoid the gank once Xmithe sees Reignover is ganking he would just steal his buffs. or
Secure his buffs

I don't think it really would have mattered to be honest if Quinn got a kill or two. Quinn is annoying but Fiora is Dangerous. Level 6 Fiora wins Team fight Fiora wins Late game Fiora wins.

I was under the impression that if reignover gave huni a kill or 2 that would give him a lead to go toe and toe against fiora without having the fear of dying.

What would you take on that be? Would Huni be able to go toe and toe with Fiora then? And possibly contest Fiora? Would he be strong enough to kill her or if not kill defend much more better?

If Huni as Quinn was up 2-0-0 with 75 cs by 10 mins and Darshan Fiora was 0-2-0 with 55 cs by 10 mins...

Yes I think Huni could 1v1 and go toe v toe with Darshan but it would be close either way as both have vaults and Riposte like abilities but Huni would win early.

No if they game dragged on around the 40-50 min mark Darshan's Fiora would out scale the Quinn as I mentioned she is a better team fighter champion with the game on the line and 1 ace means gg.

I don't know what else to say on the matter, but if you do respond Ill read it but not leave a comment as this is you post and I want you to have the last word on the matter.

It depends, they may experiment a bit with it early on, but if it doesn't work well, they'll obviously drop it. With some cinderhulk junglers coming back, it's very possible that carry tops will make a few returns every now and then, but tank tops will also be in the mix, so hopefully champion diversity has started to open up, but it's only the beginning of the split, so it's tough to tell.

Huni can stomp anyone with anyone if his jungler gets him ahead (usually), the question is what champion is easiest to get him ahead on? If it's not Quinn, they won't use her.

I feel that quinn is a very strong pick for IMT and whenever I see IMT, Quinn comes to my mind. Huni if reignover camps for him can do wonders with Quinn even get a penta. Keep in mind Huni is the only player to get a penta with Quinn at proplay level. I think there is a lot of synergy there. I wish he goes Quinn but I want reignover to get him ahead.

Imt went 17-1 because reignover camped top. Also Huni playing Quinn is scary as hell, he has stomped everyone, can't even go toe to toe with his Quinn. This is what im saying, if rrignover camps top and gets huni at least 2 kills, huni's Quinn will stomp the game. Doesn't matter if its clg or tl.

Currently in the meta, Quinn is crap. Sure, she has that mobility, but a champion packing a point and click(looking at you, Maokai) would put her down.

By the way, if you're wanting to bring up Huni's pentakill when the stars aligned, Balls got a penta w/ Darius at the big tournament. Doesn't mean it's consistent or viable.

Only way Huni can really "force" Quinn in at this time, is if Reignover pitches a tent, holds Huni's hand for like 20 minutes, and gifts Huni some kills. Smash and flummox Reignover, delay him from babysitting Huni, and Huni's in for a rough game.

Which as we've seen, most likely won't work as much anymore, as NA players have been working hard to get better. Look at Hauntzer. He mushroom stamped all over CLG earlier today, and Hauntzer can hang w/ Huni(even solo-killing him).
