Why I Hate Team Liquid

Early on I was a huge fan of Team Curse. They were the team that could, but never quite did. They tried interesting stuff and relied on some interesting stars to try and get something done. I couldn't have loved them more during the tournament in which they were accused of communicating with Dignitas to get an aram going during a finals. I thought it was an amazing match and super fun to watch. And it was only for one game. But after that happened, the tournament org got super butt hurt and refused to give the win to the deserving team. Steve forced his team to make some kind of halfassed apology and honestly, it was a bad move. The org really should have backed the team and they could have claimed their first real international victory had they just stuck to their guns. There was no evidence of collusion provide by either the tournament organizer nor the teams. Honestly, I think that was the point where I started to doubt the integrity of Team Curse, or at least, their managers. But then came the LCS season where they were winning everything. The team with Elementz at the helm went something like 10-0 at the start and were absolutely unbeatable. Then st. vicious started bullying elementz live on the team stream and when elementz asked steve that something should be done about this, all they did was remove elementz. Poor guy, he was the heart and soul of the team and a major reason why the team was winning so much. And they kick him. After that, the team lost a shit ton of games and failed to make worlds. This is when teh 4th place curse really began. Steve thought buying Piglet from SKT would chance their fortunes, but his gambit turned out to be false. When the team was winning early on in the season, they were winning with Dom and McBrief. And despite winning a few games with them, they decided to bench McBrief and brought cancer Piglet back in, the same way they went with st. vicious rather than Elementz. And guess what, they started losing again. But then came Dardoch. And with the doch, they started winning again. Until they benched him during some of the most important matches they had to reach worlds. And guess what, they lost again. Proving that managment there (read steve) were completely inept and gave no shits about who really cared about the team, favoring star power even when star power could not effect wins. Then came franchising. Somehow, Immortals were not accepted in the league, against the logic of anyone who had an iota of intelligence. There was no explanation, but I bet Steve had something to do with it. His team had barely staved off relegation after poaching Doublelift from TSM. If that isn't collusion then I don't know what is. Well, RIot rewarded Liquid with a slot even though Immortals had made worlds. Not only that, they did so in the milddle of the Immortal's worlds run, surely affecting their morale in the middle of some of their most important matches. And guess who benefited most from this? Steve and Liquid. Guess who went into the latest season with 0% of their former team roster. Liquid. The fucking team grabbed 4/5 of the Immortals roster. Sent cody away when they got rights to the lift. And somehow proceeded to win NA twice but were shit in both MSI and Worlds, suggesting that Steve was probably buying some kind of buff from Riot. I mean, consider that doublelift's win rate against Orianna was abysmal. Then riot continues to nerf Ori to shit. What does that say? Look at spring split playoffs Fox v Liquid game 2 and fox has a huge gold lead and their team fights against Liquid looks like they are 5k gold behind. It's super suspicious. Their performance against international competition would suggest the same. Why this team is no.1 at NA but looks like a 4th seed team in inter competition. The truth is Liquid sucks. Their owner is a complete dumbass. End of.

Dude, you are so right. This year's MSI is even more of a poor display of our "best team"

Yet here LQ is out of groups.
Do you think the decision to replace Pobelter with Jensen was a bad one? Because I don't. Pob is one of my favorite players but let us be honest, he just wasn't up to the task at worlds. His highs were awesome but he had too many lows.

Do you think the decision to replace Olleh with Core JJ was a bad one? Because I don't. I like Olleh too. But Core JJ is a big improvement and hasn't had the emotional breakdown Olleh did.

As for Piglet yes, much too much was invested in him and he got away with too much. He is completely Toxic. But you failed to mention the worst problem with that Liquid team. The coach. How could he control Toxic Piglet and Toxic Dardoch, when he couldn't even control himself? Smashing keyboards, screaming, etc. By the time Steve put his foot down it was far far too late.

As for IMT, they were my favorite team. And when most of them came to LQ they became my favorite. Riot pretty much tor%%%%ed IMT because they made a big investment in another e sport. It didn't have anything to do with Steve. By the way FYI: IMT may be purchasing Optic which would put them back into the LCS.

And everyone buys players. Everyone.
