So NA Fans, Who We Rooting For Now?

FlashNeko··2 votes·1,028 views

With the last NA team getting its face shoved in the mud and then stepped on as hard as humanly possible, it is only human nature that we'll try to find another team to get behind for the rest of Worlds.

The problem is, most of our choices are a bit... underwhelming.

I mean, if you believe Western Unity is the bigger point your choices are the European version of TSM Fnatic (in that they treat everyone else who plays the game with the same level of respect anyone else would treat a piece of used toilet paper) or Xpeke Presents Xpeke's Oregen Starring Xpeke and Featuring Xpeke (With Special Guest Xpeke).

Can't really bring myself to cheer for those attitudes.

Meanwhile I guess there's also the... kinda Monte Cristo-level mindless selling out of just getting on the SKT or EDG bandwagons? Like, I have nothing against either team in their cases but rooting for them feels less like rooting because you're a fan and more because you just want to have a 98% chance of saying you're backing a winner. It feels.. hollow.

I dunno, maybe I'm just feeling salty and bitter right now but this is how Group Stage has left me feeling.

SKT. I'm done rooting for Western teams. EU fans are annoying, too. So, hopping on the Korean bandwagon.

Go SKT!

I wish that, instead of actual casting, they just had Yamato backstage commentating on Roccat games. Maybe it would make them worth watching.

Na fans and Eu fans tend to only root for their own regions. But when say one region is gone, they flock to the other region.

In this case, Na fans will flock to eu

The opposite happened last year. But like always we (eu and Na )never get to finals

But I really like OG. They feel like Europe; FNC used to also but with aquisition of Huni and ro not so much any more

But even FNC 2 local EU players, which makes them as European as C9 and CLG are American. Not to even mention TSM that are more European than American. :P

Og from what i know is that they have no Korean players I don't consider eu and Na players different. The countries have similar roots. Hell in time I'll view Huni as European.

Well since there is no longer an NA team to root for im going for who looks the strongest which is SKT. EDG is my upset pick.

Origen or Flash Wolves. Flash Wolves only because it's impossible to dislike a guy named Steak.

Origen for sure. I just want a western team to take it. That's all I want from this year.

Same here, but I think chances are very low. SKT made EDG look like a rookie team in their last match. I'm afraid to see what they'll do to those other poor teams who were lucky enough to get so far, but yet unlucky to face what seems to be the incarnation of doom itself.

Origen. Because Neils is pretty cool and Amazing used to play on TSM.

FNC and OG of course. NA and EU are part of the LCS, so of course we want EU to do good if we can't.
