Two things regarding the sound of the LCS stream...
First, can we please get the volume raised of the stream? I usually have to double or triple my volume slider on my computer when watching the stream. It doesn't have to be cranked, but any louder would be acceptable so I don't have to crank it so high. I've heard this brought up so much on forums, and it seems to be one of very few streams I have to do this with...the others being just Twitch streamers that don't know where to put it or play it a bit too safe with the volume.
Second, can we raise the volume of the in game music? I'm rewatching some old LoL from older seasons, and the in game music is much louder. It kinda adds an extra layer to the stream, giving the entire experience a more full and energetic feeling. Idk when I watch NALCS now its very quiet and I can barely hear it unless I have my headset on and even then it's low. Maybe this is why I find CSGO boring, no in game music. But Hearthstone, Halo, Starcraft, other games that have music or at least ambient noise at certain times in the game (like Halo) just gives the stream something extra. Specially when those Starcraft matches start up, hear those spacey drum/synth sounds...so good;)
tl;dr I honestly think it's another reason people perceive the LCS as being more boring now, tho it's a more subconscious thing that people don't notice. Music and sound is a highly overlooked feature to producing amazing content and production, the low volume of the stream and lack of filler sound from the game can make it feel like a much more dull experience.
