Just wondering about gold income after watching Sky's new video...

He said games of LoL are draining and are much longer than other games out like Overwatch, CSGO, etc. I personally don't mind, I like it after playing games like CoD/Halo/etc for so many years. I know Riot was trying lots of stuff to shorten games earlier this year (like death timers) but why didn't they just increase the rate of static gold income across the board so people just reached items faster by default? Kinda like ARAMs, but probably not as fast...actually maybe as fast cuz you're doing way more stuff and moving around a bigger map fighting less so it'd prolly still be ok. Idk just wondering if this was even looked at as an option, or did they do it slightly and I just missed the patch notes?

They could also cut item costs across the board. I haven't seen it suggested but if I had to guess, it wouldn't really add gameplay, just make games end faster. Death timers aren't fun, but at least there's the argument that it's based on how well you do in game. I think one reason ARAMs have higher passive gold is because CSing isn't a big part of that game mode (partly because it's difficult with 5 people in a lane).

It's....not great, man. Most of it comes from ad revenue and network deals

Probably not just static gold income. Maybe just increase gold gains around the board?
