Who do you think deserves the EU All 1-2-3rd Teams ?

My EU picks are pretty cut and dry with the same team players' on them so it will most likely get predictable but I'm hoping and looking forward to hear from anyone else's picks.

EU 1ST TEAM

TOP VIZICSACSI-UNICORNS OF LOVE JNG JANKOS-H2K MID POWEROFEVIL-MISFITS ADC ZVEN-G2 ESPORTS SUP IGNAR-MISFITS

Without Vizicsacsi I could only imagine where UOL would be without him, he makes that team what it is with his veteran leadership and great plays.

Jankos pretty much leads EU junglers in every category and it's not like he's losing while having those type of stats or on a bad team or selfish, he's been doing this for around 4 years now and hasn't gotten much respect. This split even to there are better junglers on better teams I gotta give this award to Jankos for how much he does on H2K.

Powerofevil has my vote for MVP this split. Looking back 2015 when he was on UOL facing Fnatic in the Finals, constantly playing in the playoffs and honestly putting up some of the most ridiculous numbers in the playoffs, forming on a broken OG team and still being competitive and now, now that he's on MFS and it really feels like HIS team.
3.55 kills per game 2.50 deaths per game 4.40 assists per game 315.5 cs per game where POE's stats before this split and in a sense those are beats stats and honestly only a handful of guys average 300+ cs per game in their careers ! This split he's around 4.79 kills per game 1.50 deaths per game 5.62 assists per game and 331.2 cs per game. G2>MFS - Yes, G2 beats Misfits and Misfits are down when it comes to better teams but better mids ? Perkz? Sencux? MFS have been together for 3 months or so give or take, G2 has been together for what 2 years+ years ?.

Zven this dude can be 0-10 and still be up by 100+ cs vs his opponents, he finds ways to farm and picks his opportunities but in a sense does poorly on the international stage on if when Perkz opens up the flood gates to no return, that's when Zven starts to lose and who can blame him ? His been the best ADC for a while now.

Ignar doesn't even seem to die even tho it's 90% him that makes plays for his team in some cases. Great engages and overall a great player to boot.

EU 2ND TEAM

TOP ODOAMNE-H2K JNG XERXE-UNICORNS OF LOVE MID EXILEH-UNICORNS OF LOVE ADC HANS SAMA-MISFITS SUP MITHY-G2 ESPORTS

Odoamne - You down even need to worry about him half of the time because he plays top so well, just imagine in solo Q when you don't even need to gank his lane because he plays it so well. Whenever someone does outplay him it feels like someone just outplayed Faker at times.

Xerxe- Rookie of the split ? Maybe, considering EU has a lot of rookies to the scene this split and that's a big reason why everyone thinks EU sucks, but when you look at the raw talent EU has right now over the imports of NA it's scary! By next year wouldn't be surprised if EU wins another World Championship! No joke EU has some amazing talent that only needs time and Xerxe is one of those many talents.

Exileh- Beast- Check. Wins lane most of the time - Check Has the most kills in EU- Check. He dies mainly because he's so aggressive and yet his roams he's not stuck in mid asking for blue 24/7 or just farms for a year he actually does s$it to help his team he's 6th in the League in Damage but it's not selfish damage because any weeny can buy DMG items and still lose if they're not smart and blame the L on their team like some players.

Hans Sama - Great positioning as well very smart people can't see how smart a player truly is because there's no stats for smart or IQ etc but this guy has the whole package, just needs to be a little bit more aggressive and EU has their own Wildturtle in my opinion.

Mithy - the smartest Support in EU, he's not the best support in my opinion in EU this split but the overall best support is Mithy and it's been like that for a while now.

EU 3RD TEAM

TOP EXPECT-G2 ESPORTS JNG TRICK-G2 ESPORTS MID FEBIVEN-H2K ADC HJARNAN-ROCCAT SUP CHEI-H2K

Expect doesn't die as much but yet still gives 6 assists per game while farming around 320 cs per game - That's amazing honestly. He isn't on par with TP plays as much as he should but once he fixes that in his game he could be the best top for years to come.

Trick what needs to be said about the 2 time EU MVP jungler well he's on my 3rd team EU but that doesn't mean he's gotten worse by any means but the competition is heavy in the jungle position. He's still great and wouldn't be surprised if he wins EU MVP for a 3rd split in a row.

Febiven - What a comeback split from his FNC days. He's on an up and coming team and will need to guide them if he hopes to take H2K to a 3rd straight Worlds.

Hjarnan #1 in Damage where the next Roccat player as far as Damage goes in EU is currently at 20th, with like 10 games that went close to 45+ min average with items that do X-ass damage and the next closest player on his team is 20th!

Chei goes under most peoples noses because of the other names at support but honestly he's right up there with the other names at supports. In almost every category as far as supports he's 3rd behind Ignar and Mithy.

Well thank you and comment if you think I'm wrong, right or sexy o.O laters !

Don't really pay attention to all of that first/second/third-team BS (if it was so important, then you think they'd create an actual award for it instead of using it as filler for their otherwise small/heavily-biased articles). What I will touch on though is the MVP race, as unlike NA there are only two real candidates with a potential third one if roccat make the playoffs.

One obvious candidate who I'm thinking may take it (remember, rito tends to focus on "big names" and "stats" when it comes to their awards, hence why bjerg is always in mvp discussion) is PoE. At the start of the year, I heavily questioned misfits going from selfie (the guy who probably had the biggest overall improvement in 2016 among EU mids) to PoE (a guy who I legitimately thought was going to retire/swap regions after the cesspool known as origen more or less "had their way" with him). Not only has he brought more to the team than selfie, but thanks to the meta he's also able to come in with a hyper-confident playstyle.

Another one I could see taking it is Kakao, much for the same reasons as PoE. In the span of 2 years, he went from being known as the 2nd-best jg in the world to a guy who was being constantly subbed out back to looking like a monster. If PoE doesn't take it, Kakao is a sure #2.

Should Roccat make the playoffs, then Maxlore could/should win it due to the "Hai effect" he brings to the team. With him, they are actually able to recover from losses and don't suddenly turn to sh't after minor obstacles. While they're still a terrible team, they could look a hell of a lot worse (not as bad as origen) if they had anyone else.

DISCLAIMER: EU LCS has 1 more week to go than NALCS, and there are still some important series to go (Splyce vs H2K in last week can still considerably change the standings in Group B), so things are a little bit more subjects to change than in NALCS

1ST team

Vizicsacsi/Trick/Exileh/Zven/Ignar

2ND team

Odoamne/KaKao/PerkZ/Hans Sama/Hylissang

3RD Team

Alphari/Xerxe/Sencux/Hjarnan/mithy

Notable exclusions:

Expect - He is actually playing very well, and he was very very good at MSI (2nd best in team only behind Zven)... It is just that when you look at how G2 plays vs the other EU teams, the dynamic of their gameplay is that everything goes through Trick aggressive plays first, and the other solo lane dominance (bot and mid lane) next. So, while it is true that he has stepped up his game A TON from last season, it is basically impossible to discern about how much is Expect merit, and how much his work is eased by his team. At MSI he shined because Trick monodimensionality doesn't work as well vs international jungler so team dynamics change a lot and he actually showed up well by himself, BUT since we are talking stricly about EULCS play, it is difficult to assess his real value against guys that have different roles in their teams

Jankos - His individual play has been actually good. The real problem, though, is that in this split he has really failed in improving his weaknesses. Jankos is the international king of first blood, and his early game is as much on point as ever...and his mid game shotcalling is as bad as ever. In the old H2K roster, Jankos and Vander relative shortcomings were masked by entrusting Ryu to do a lot of shotcall despite being playing also one of the supposedly carry role; with Ryu gone Jankos was supposed to step up and improve, but quite honestly he has failed to do it so.
If we were talking about strictly his individual performance, he would probably edge at least Xerxe, but I feel like him not being able to take his game to the next level is what is keeping H2K in the 4th position among EU teams (when UOL game is on point)

PowerOfEvil - similar situation of the Expect one. He is playing GREAT. No question about that. BUT, it is easy to play well when you have arguably the best combo in EU LCS when looking at the "shotcalling" positions, namely jungle/support. Kakao/Ignar are having a great season, and the other laners of Misfits have been competent as well and beating or going even with their counterpart His performance would warrant surely a selection in an All-Team, but he is playing in the role with the strongest competition in EU, and, quite frankly, I feel like Sencux is the only piece that is really keeping Splyce going despite what the "Player of the Series" standing is saying (Wunder has gotten back to middle of the table really), so I placed Alphari, which has been the weakes member of Misfits in and PoE out. There is certainly an argument to replace Alphari with Expect in the 3rd team and thus place PoE into it at the expense of Sencux

Chei - He is actually one of the best all around player in both LCS right now. He is doing EVERYTHING good to very good level right now. He is decent to good in laning, he ward well, he does very good damage in fights, he has good presence overall in fights. He would totally deserve to be in an All-team, it is just...who do you replace him with? Ignar has been clearly the best support in EU and there is a strong istance to have him as MVP Hylissang is the heart and soul of UOL together with Vizi, and while after a strong start he had quite of a slump later on in the season and he still has various flaws, at his peak he has been the only one that has been as good as Ignar, and heck, he is one of the biggest playmakers in LCS in any role, despite of the final outcome of the plays...and UOL is the second best team in the standings, so clearly the plays are going well enough to put him in mithy has been very bad in lane, but he and Zven represent the best bot lane in EU and probably the entire West, so while there is a strong suspect that is really Zven who is carrying him and mithy is actually declining, he still deserve the benefit of the doubt and as it is often mentioned he is second in most of the support stats

Others honorable mentions

Caps - There isn't really any argument to put him into one of the first 3 teams, but it is actually worth mentioning him since he has been the only shining light for Fnatic this split

Febiven - He has played overall kinda good, but he has shown very high highs and very low lows. One game he is S5 Febiven, another day he is S6 Summer Febiven, on his best day he would surely deserve to get in, but his inconsistency is what is keeping him out of an All-team in my eyes

Samux/Nuclear - These guys have popped off big in some games, and have been generally consistent and reliable, but, again, it is an Expect/Poe-like situation, you got to realize how much it is their merit and how much their work is eased by their teams

Memento - His team is playing too bad to be really considered in an All-team, but his stats are crazy good for being in a so bad team where he is in a kinda of elo-hell. 2nd highest KP% in the entire league PoE, 3rd highest DPM amongst jungler behind Jankos and Trick, highest DMG% and more in general decent to good in any stats. If it wasn't for the whole remake fiasco against Vitality, he would be the only player with 2 "Player of the Series" awards among the bottom 5 teams before this week games - ironically because of that the only player that has gotten this achievement has been Nukeduck thanks to that -

Minus Xerxe, I think your first 2 teams look valid. Does Xerxe have great stats? Yes. But he was way too passive and selfish in first half of the split. He showed improvement after their international beatdown by fw, but then went back to being too passive again. Visicsacsi (and others) have gotten screwed because he won't just commit to ganking an overextended enemy if he thinks the enemy may have vision or might escape. When you win the 2v2 because of champs you have, when you can chunk the enemy low and maybe burn flash, it is worth it to gank - even if you don't grab the kill. But he won't go for it, then 1 min later when the lane is pushed to the enemy tower, the enemy jungler takes the opportunity Xerxe didn't and gets a flash or kill for it. Had hope for Xerxe really improving after his first week back from MSI, but then he seems to have gone right back to his old habits. Hell, even if you trade kills and you are playing something like rengar or kha, it is worth it - you do more with the gold than the enemy probably does.

After Misfits failing in the last weeks, I'm going to update the All teams by putting Expect in for Alphari, and swapping Xerxe for Kakao in 2nd team

First team (Vizicsacsi/Trick/Exileh/Zven/Ignar) remains the same

Second team is

Odaoamne/Xerxe/PerkZ/Hans Sama/Hylissang

Third team is

Expect/KaKao/Sencux/Hjarnan/mithy
