What's the point of all the match Team Ice vs Team Fire if only the 1v1 determine the winning Team LOL

Way to miss the point of the event, Hangster. So they shouldn't have played out the rest of their matches regardless of the winner already being decided, thus cutting the schedule they already planned out and robbing the viewers and audience there of some rather entertaining games; games in which you wouldn't find players of their caliber playing on stage over the competitive season unless conditions were just as loose as what they were here? Yeah the 1v1 tipped the scales heavily but is that really such a matter to grieve over? 1100-850 looks like a really good final score outcome compared to the IWC All Stars.

The whole point isn't to see which team wins, sure it gives fans a team/player to root for but at the end of the day it's just for fun. Who cares who wins from which ever tournament or round in the All-Stars.

it was just because basically 3 ICE players and 1 FIRE player were in the semifinals because so many players got eliminated before already (DLift, Bjergsen, Faker), and of that 2 ICE players played the final. So they took good points out of it.

it was not only the 1v1, but they got good points out of it because of that.

Team Ice wrecked Team Fire in fun modes last year, because they won the same number of fun matches BUT Ice won the fun matches that gave more points

Team Fire won Marksmen, Assassin and OFA, while Ice won Pick 10 (basically an extra KR vs CN match because Worlds vs MSI winners), All Stars-All Stars and Tandem Mode. Fire got 150 points, Ice got 350 points

Heck, in the regional matches Fire was ahead only because of LCK that won the finals vs EU and so Fire received 300 points for the series win, with this year format Fire would have been SO behind Ice without 1 vs 1

Team Fire still won most of the region matches and some fun game, while lost to only the 1v1

Team Ice was only 50 points behind without 1vs1 and last mixed regional matches (that in the end no one took seriously because the winner was yet decided, I mean, just look at the champions picked in those last 3 games).

They didn't win only because of 1vs1, they win because they were so close that 1vs1 was the decider, just like it was last year (and heck, Fire was so close last year only because of LCK winning the 300 points on regional matches final)
