TSM vs Gravity in the final. It all comes down to a late game baron battle. After much back and forth, the baron losing health the whole time, the unthinkable finally happens: Saintvicious wins a smite-off. Santorin is so shocked and demoralized that just sits there and watches as his team is dispatched and Gravity wins in 45.

For TL to come in final 4, they have to beat CLG in a best of 5. Are you guys sure they can overcome the powerhouse that CLG is at the moment? Because I kinda doubt this will be easy for either of these teams.

They managed to do it last split.

Plus Liquid is coming off of a winning streak while CLG is on a losing on. Tilt happens.

True, but both sides have their disadvantages here. CLG's is coming off a loss streak, and they seem to be playing worse as well on top of that. TL has still shown weaknesses in cooperating as a team. I'm not gonna give them too much credit for their win over T8, that's one of the only teams they've beaten before with Piglet on the roster. They haven't beaten any other mid-top tier team with Piglet starting. They've even lost to DIG, a low tier team with Piglet playing. They're a total of 4-8 (5-8 with tiebreaker) with Piglet and two of those wins are over CST.

The only bright spot for TL is that they finally seem to be coming together. If they've figured out all or maybe even just most of their issues, I feel like they can actually finish 1st. To be completely honest, when they played with Keith they looked like the strongest team in NA by a noticeable margin. If they can find that same chemistry with Piglet, I feel like they can beat every team in NA if not stomp them.

People need to stop thinking Keith is some overall determining factor on TL's success. And I don't believe it is chemistry or synergy with piglet that is affecting TL. I think it is just overall stress.

Xpecial basically micromanages Keith and while that can be effective it also limits a team. When they brought Piglet back, Quas/Fenix/Dom just under-performed. Nothing Piglet could do could affect that. The team as a whole has its moments and if they can reach consistency, I think they can dominate CLG.

I don't think he is, I just compare the strength of the team playing to him and to when they're playing with Piglet. If they can play how they played with Keith with him, they'd be the best team in NA by a notable margin.

God I love this post. The entire thing boils down to the team. People keep thinking that Keith is the end all be all for TL to "go back to Glory", but it is the TEAM.

O.O All of the team has been playing like shit. Sometimes its Quas, sometimes it Fenix or Dom, or hell maybe Piglet. The team as a whole needs to shape up :3

Yeah the entire team needs to shape up. Piglet already did his part by improving on everything they put on the list (a 3-page list of issues too, wtf). They can at least try to shape up in their own way. They look like they've been getting better at it in the last 2 weeks, but still they need more progress.

Hell, keith was behind in farm in most of his games, i think he was down by over 80 in one, and they still won.

I am predicting TSM vs CLG finals with CLG taking it 3-2.

For some reason, I dont think C9 deserves a finals spot this split.

I think that C9, CLG, TIP, and TSM will be the top four. My bet goes on TSM, C9, CLG, TIP. But Cloud 9 has been showing up and I have to root for my Florida boy Sneaky, kicking myself to find out we are from the same city, so It could go either way.

But I want to see TL vs Gravity for 5th. Who is closer to being curse?

Patch 5.5 / 5.6 hurt 3 threat teams that run a carry in the top lane or jungler. Both Liquid and CLG have one of those so I dunno which one will come out ahead there but I don't think they can get further than 4th with tank tops being so strong. Rush is still rolling early game gankers for TIP and the farm heavy/support style guys like Meteos/Santorin have an advantage so I don't see much of a chance for him.

Hai is having health issues that are hurting his play. Bof5 is really bad if he can't even do more than 3 scrims at one time without losing mechanical capabilities and having to switch to less intensive champions. That's why I put TSM higher.
