... Or does it feel like the other NA teams are purposefully throwing when they play Immortals?

Like... you'll see them make smart plays against each other and then they're up against Immortals and suddenly it's all, "HERPADERPADOO! BETTER FILE IN ONE AT A TIME AT THE ENEMY ADC WHILE SLOWLY WALKING THROUGH THE GANGPLANK AND VIKTOR ULTS! SO SMRT!"

I don't get it. It's like Riot looked at Fnatic's last season and decided NA needed a Perfect Record Team too (to keep the regional rivalry alive) and is slipping money under the table to Immortals opponents to convince them to throw .

Disclaimer: I do not think that is ACTUALLY happening. It's just nothing in the games Immortals has played has convinced me they're actually that good. It's more like everyone else is playing that bad.

Well... you think that other teams are making "smart plays against each other" when in reality the other teams are consistently making huge mistakes against each other - the most famous being their throws at Baron. So yeah, other teams are just playing bad - all the time. Other teams rely on their opponents to mess up in order to win - with few exceptions. That's why they haven't beat Immortals. You can't take it for granted that your opponent will make mistakes and give you a window to victory.

I dunno, I've seen Immortals play really well. That teamfight against NRG, the catch onto Doublelift, and winning in 18 minutes are pretty impressive.
