With LZ's defeat, I just realized they were the last #1 Seed of any region at Worlds. That means that no #1 Seed will be in the Semis.

Has that ever happened before? I'm pretty sure usually at least one #1 Seed makes it that far. To have none make it seems like it would be a statistical anomaly.

Last year there was no #1 seed in the finals either. Rox lost out earlier.
