how does the lcs playoffs work?
LIke how do you know what teams get to play in the playoffs?

- Single elimination with Third Place match.
- First and Second place of the regular season get a bye into the Semifinals.
- Third through Sixth place of the regular season play in the Quarterfinals.
- All matches Best of 5.
- 7th place does not participate in the Playoff, but retain their spot to play in the next split.
- 8th and 9th place need to play against the 2nd and 3rd place Challenger Series Playoffs teams to retain their spots. 8th place gets to choose which Challenger team they play against. Losing teams are returned/demoted back to Challenger Series.
- 10th Is Auto-relegated, and replaced with the Challenger Series Spring Split Playoff winner.
10th place in LCS is no longer auto relegated fyi.
