Can't They Pick Jax into Fiora?

Not sure but I feel Riven is always a risky pick since she relies heavily on gold and can be sketch in teamfights. While Fiora has a damn anti CC and AoE heal.

apparently dumps Fiora because he has jack shit for her to Riposte, but he offers nothing to a teamfight either. I hear is pretty damn good into Fiora also not sure about that one, but she's a reliable teamfighter. I hear dumps Fiora at all stages also and can kite her out in teamfights.

Last in theory wouldn't wreck Fiora? She's totally AA dependent, and Jax has two defense steroids in his W and Grandmaster's might. He takes more time to ramp up, but it's not like he's he spikes a bit earlier and has more teamfight utility.

Jax is literally one of the easiest lanes for fiora he uses his stun, you riposte and he stuns himself, you out damage him easily, and can out trade him / out farm him

When Jax's goes against Fiora he doesn't have a E, becuase its basically impossible to miss Fiora's Riposte against Jax's Counterstrike. Considering that Jax is already some what weak early game you would be giving Fiora a free lane.

Jax can't do a lot. If he jumps on you just Riposte since basic jax combo is Leap > Stun.

No way that can be right. I normally see Olaf dump Riven. She has nothing to really Riposte. Am I missing something?

Those are just the stats I would have to see the match play out to see why Fiora is excelling vs Olaf. Only thing I can think of is that her true damage renders he tanky build inefficient against her to the point he can't beat her auto for auto, he also provides less for his team overall. Just my thoughts but I could be wrong.

It's simple, really. Olaf has a deceptively high skill cap while also being sort of bad in Solo Q.

He has low win rates until players get a lot of games in on him in general, and he isn't as effective in Solo Q as he is in the LCS. Why? In the LCS, there tends to be a single champion designated as the carry, with the rest of the team built around them to help them dish out damage in team fights. Olaf excels in games like this because he easily ignores the people trying to peel for the carry and bursts them down, winning the team fight.

In Solo Q, EVERYONE wants to play a carry. Team fight comps are less important, so it's not uncommon to see a team with damage dealers in literally every role. Garen top, Lux mid, Master Yi jungle, any ADC (usually Vayne though, which is bad news for Olaf), and Tahm Kench support (who is also one of the few supports that can peel for his carry, funnily enough). Olaf would get blown to pieces by this team.

That's just my opinion on why there's this weird disparity between Olaf in the LCS and in Solo Q anyway.

That explains it. Because Olaf was one of the few I've seen do well against Fiora in the tournament. She tries to duel him and he just chunks her out like "Bro do you know who Olaf is!?"

Not that great. She can Riposte your telegraphed Chomp to prevent you from receiving AD and reducing hers. In addition, she can Q to proc her passive and use the additional movement speed it gives you outrun any retaliation., her true damage punishes you for building tanky, and she's significantly more mobile than you are.

Trundle is picked to counter tanks. He isn't too good otherwise. Yes he might go even with her if he builds botrk but he won't impact the team fights as well as she can

I played jax against fiora before and it was nightmare. I am not sure either i suck or he does not counter fiora anymore. However, fiora still can activate her mark while jax is using e. If your e is blocked by fiora's riposte ur deadman. I found shen and gp are good against her. I think fiora is weak against the champ that can poke you down and cant not be poked down by fiora's passive

If not Riposte, Jax would be an ultimate counter to Fiora. But, things are different.

I know Pantheon counters her in lane. Though I think countering her in laning phase doesn't help enough. I keep getting told that once Fiora hits 6 then everything you did in lane doesn't matter. She'll climb back up easily. She has weaknesses and some counters, though I think her best counters don't offer much in the teamfight and late game phases of the game.
