I think KOO intentionally threw two games to YFW in order to get second seed, and in so doing caused CLG to be dropped into 3rd/4th.
if KOO is a second seed they will get to play origen or C9, who they regard as weaker.
if KOO is first there are three teams they view as strong. Going by the interview, they didn't seem disappointed at all

Utter Bullshit because a 3-0 team can still end #1 #2 or #3 depending on how they play.
I don't think so. There were clearly apparent things that indicated C9 would do well and LGD would not do well. C9 having new players and new roles would clearly benefit much more from a monthlong Korean bootcamp, and LGD lost their coaching staff going into worlds.
They already lost to FlashWolves in the first week.
Well but SKT is probably going to be a first seed, and that's the only team KOO should really be scared of. They are gonna have to potentially face either SKT or EDG regardless of whether they are first or second, so I doubt they would throw two games just for the chance to potentially face Origen or Cloud 9 instead of KT and Fnatic. KT could still get first seed, and if they don't, they probably aren't much better than Origen anyway. And Cloud 9 may not be that strong, but it's not like any other team in their group is strong enough to be scary.
I would never risk getting SKT first round. Every other team looks beatable. 2nd seed is a gamble, atm. I dont think EDG is that strong; they didn't play particularly well vs. anyone but first game of BKT. Other games looked more like them losing and being gifted throws, then them coming out ahead or anything.
I know, I would def. not want to risk facing SKT first round. So, while maybe they did, maybe they didn't, thats a pretty big gamble to take. None of hte other 1st/2nd teams look as strong atm as SKT. Thats why, I DO hope C9 takes first, and avoids that matchup.
I think KOO is overrating themselves anyways. Which, could help whatever team faces them. Being overconfident this worlds, is a death sentence.
KOO could end up against SKT.
