Give solo players something

As a mainly solo player, I feel really left out by riot. They seem to be obsessing over getting as many people to queue up together as possible. That's fine, i don't mind playing with many people queued together. But **people queuing solo should have the same access to crafting materials as people queuing in groups**. If you are in a group, you'll likely get some crafting materials almost every game. But if you are solo, it might be once ever 5 games. How is this fair to solo players?

Obviously, thinking of solutions is not the issue here. They **deliberately** said, "no, we will make sure solo players don't get as much, because we want people to play in groups". That is what is so infuriating. They **deliberately** said "hey you like playing solo? Well, too bad. Group up or you won't get as much as these other players".

In the past, I have always been impressed by Riots decision making. Even in situations where they themselves will be disadvantaged, they always did what was fair to their players. They have done a lot of things right. I won't go into everything here, but they seem like a good company. But this outright discrimination against solo players is very disturbing to me.

I just wanna chime in that I don't wanna ruin my friendships by playing Ranked with them. That's a lot of the reason why I'd just prefer to stick to solo Ranked, and team up with friends for Unranked. Which would be fine if, you know, they weren't treated like the exact same mode in pretty much every meaningful way, sans the whole rank thing. Makes me miss Team Builder, because that was by far the best for groups of friends.

Seriously, I have two separate groups, friends and ranked partners. They're separate for very, very good reason. Friends are for hanging out and enjoying a game, the equivalent of having a cup of coffee together. Ranked partners I don't even have to like, and many I don't exactly enjoy the company of because they're sort of pricks, and I'm sure they don't really like me, either. They're like a list of independent contractors. We may not even get along at all, but at least we work well together from a gameplay perspective.

There's a really big difference, man. I'm surprised I can't seem to find empathy on that idea.

I've gotten 1 S rank ever, and it was NOT the game that I went 26/1/14 in a 50 kill match with 200+ farm. It was the game that I played Jungle and went 0/6/15 while playing with 3 of my friends. That makes literally no sense and is honestly stupid.

I don't know why Riot is so hellbent on telling us how to enjoy their game.

"We won't make sandbox mode because the best way to learn League of Legends is playing against other people!"

"The best way to enjoy League of Legends is to group with other people, so we are killing solo queue, introducing dynamic queue, and giving more rewards to people for playing together!"

Hey Riot, stop telling me what the best "League of Legend experience" is and let me enjoy the game how I want to without losing on benefits! How is that for a radical idea for you?

I agree, but Riot has shown that such is their view for quite some time.

-Making some Icons require that you play with friends, or like the snowball Icons that you receive them from others. -Making part grouped rank que -The rewards when party que or whatever came out. I think it was bonus IP for playing with others. I don't quite remember, but there have been multiple instances where solo players have been left out.

Essentially punishing one further if they don't have many friends, or if they do not like playing with others and the drama associated with such.

Agreed.

Im not sure why riot all of a sudden has a hard-on for giving privileges to people who play with others. If that's really the direction youre trying to force your customers in (despite the fact that SOLO queue was the primary form of play for YEARS, and that because of community feedback you are RE-ADDING IT after removing it) then why not just up and remove the ability for players to queue solo entirely?

Saving up IP for champions, runes and rune pages is a major chore, and I don't have access to people to play with on here to take advantage of party IP bonuses, so thanks for that rito. This also leaves me and others out in the cold when it comes to hextech crafting as well, for literally no reason. It seems like a decision made specifically to ignore solo players out of spite or something, because I certainly cant think of a reason for excluding solo players from the same gaming experience as grouped ones.

Are you telling me you don't randomly add players after a weird/good game? Am I that weird?

They are pushing premades since premades reduce toxicity by 90%. So premades are the easy way to fix toxicity instead of improving automated systems or bringing back tribunal, sorry but Riot doesn't care about solo players, it's been their policy ever since they replaced double IP weekends with party rewards.
