I dont think i can stand listening to Riv casting the LCS anymore

I completely disagree, though I imagine this is a matter that is 100% a matter of opinion. For one thing, Riv isn't supposed to provide analysis of the games, (which the biggest complaint I hear against him is that he doesn't provide insight into the games) because that isn't his job. He provides play-by-play, which basically means he talks about whatever is happening, while Kobe or Jatt provides the more detailed analysis of why stuff is happening. In football they have the same set-up, usually one retired pro and someone who just yells excitedly what is happening. And as for him garbling words that don't make any sense, I have seen him mess up a sentence a few times, but it doesn't bother me as much as it seems to bother you. Anyway I am sorry you don't like his casting, but you asked other peoples opinion on him, so this is mine.

This. Riv is at his best when making play by plays and his random quotes about skittles or dodging wrenches, etc. Riv runs into problems when he strays into Jatt/Kobe's expertise and starts talking about strategy and things, and this does make him come off pretty poor, however. I laugh because when he gets into one of these really bad strategy calls, jatt/kobe just kinda go, 'Yea.........no" lol. But, Riv is a good play by play guy, and he is ingrained enough into the LCS that he will be around until he decides to move on anyways, so not like it matters.

I do think Riv needs to stay in his wheel-house and do play by play and stop dabbling in the strategic aspect, which does cause some disconnect when you hear him rambling on about god knows what kind of bronze 5 mentality.
