I am actually glad that he said. The first step in beating a better team is to believe that you can beat them. Its not like he said they are fighting inferior teams.

Exactly. Having a defeatist attitude gets you nowhere. If you dont think you can win, you won't win. Its that simple. If you think you can win, well you at least give yourself a shot.

I dont understand why people get upset when they here people being confident. You have to be confident or whats the point?

I honestly think thats one of the key factors in such poor performances from NA. They mentally psych themselves out before they even get in a game. There is a reason that sometimes EU teams simply perform better, and its not always about skill. You hardly ever hear them be defeatist. They always believe they are the best, and ironically they always end up having the best showings.

Its about time more NA teams start having that attitude. Whether they win or not, thats one of the first steps to actually getting the victory; believing you can.

Remember when TSM was confident ? Everyone shit on them and the community would never stop bringing it up... But when CLG does it is ok....

Of course peopel are going to flame them. I think its ok if TSM is confident, and even c9. If you actually think you can't compete, why the hell even bother? Just stay home.

They should be able to handle the flame. If they can't handle being flamed, then they simply arent mentally tough, which is another reason for their meltdowns. Thats one reason I'm pretty happy for c9 going. If they have one thing going for them, its that they are a mentally tough team. Even Incarnation sounds like he thinks hes the best mid in the world, even after his poor performances. You have to think that. If you dont think that, you will just defeat yourself before you even get a chance to play the game.

If any of these teams dont think they can win a game, they might as well stay home becuase they wont. No winning sports team in history showed up hoping they just did well. They all believed they could win. And guess what? Some of those underdog teams did win.

CLG is getting carried away with winning one split. They forget that they were in relagation about 6 months ago.

They are good now but their inconsistency is always present.

Yeah They are not fighting inferior NA teams. They aren't just fighting against foreign teams; they are fighting top foreign teams who are consistent
