In one of the pro teams, girls need someone to look up to and see that this game is not just a boy thing and that girls can be as good as boys We also need someone that's openly gay. I whished Bjergsen or super hot reekles were or way not faker him self. He is totaly Fu**-able for being aisan.

There is a Challenger team in NA with a women that have a very good chance to make it in next year. They are called Misfits, They have Crumbzz and Alex Ich.

Why are you ripping on this persons opinion. She (I assume they are a she) is correct it would be great for a female pro player. Now Saying they be great for a role model yes and no, Pro players are role models but they should be different because of it.
Why do football teams not have women, because men are physically stronger then women that is a fact. Esports in general don't have that limitation but we still have not got many female pro player. There is a number of factors that may be why this might be. But the biggest has been that men have historically dominated these type of video games.

In all seriousness, though, the Esports community is about 90%+ male. If girls play more often and get good enough to go pro, I have nothing against that. However, including women over BETTER QUALIFIED men for the sake of diversity is actually less fair.

The pro scen should represent the community and I have no doubt there are girls the could compet at the highest level. I wished some got there so more girls could get the motivation to follow. I feel girls are somewhat held back of the norms and structure. Men tend to choice men even when equal qualified. I don't want force anyone, just think it would be fun, interesting and progressive if girls also become the part of the pro scene
PoisonedTea1 votesNo being good enough player myself it hard to get into the mind of a pro player. But their is a possible mental wall for women to be pros as well. First you be the only girl in a room of men, high lvl play is also very stressful looking for perfection, on top of that the internet/reddit they can be scary places for public figers putting themselfs out there(people judging or trolling you). I am not saying that it is good, but Esports players have to be mentally strong often without much help.
