ChompyWulf1 votesNot sure what you're talking about? Arrow kept getting caught like he was shot out of a toddlers play bow at a Shaolin master, but Crown was doing well. He was the only bright point for Optic in Game 2 and I really only counted him being "caught out" twice all series.

I was talking about game 1 in answering the OP as in how did they get 4 barons and an elder and lose.

Game 1, I agree Crown was out of position with the first two times he was caught. The last one you mentioned? He was taking out an inhib. That's a trade worth making to have three downed enemy inhibitors. That's not caught, its a strategic sacrifice.
Game 2, he tried to make a play, that was very high risk. He times that attack a half second slower, he possibly catches Stixxay alone with the rest of CLG backed and gets a kill. He moves too soon, PoE sees it and helps Stixxay and it busts. It's not getting caught out of position. (Especially given how little was being done by his teammates, gotta try hard sometimes.)
Game 3, yep, third time he's caught out chasing the PoE kill.
So three times. I'd chalk the third one up to him being mentally checked out and not caring about the series, not being stupid. At that point it was already clear Optic was done for.

ChompyWulf1 votesCrown did fine, the huge problem was Arrow. If anything Crown probably was tilted by having a feeder on team and nobody else stepping up.
III BAKURYU III 1 votesI would be lying if I said I didn't want Optic to lose and for CLG to be alive for Worlds. Sucks because I would gladly take Optic/Clutch/CLG or even 100 Thieves over a possible TSM potential seed for NA.
Good for CLG to sustain for 40+mins in a meta where if you do get behind you tend to lose straightforward.
Going to be interesting because the semi-finals will be polar opposites between the teams in some regards. Will Team Liquid want to face a more aggressive team like Clutch Gaming(MSI/Rift Rivals Team Liquid were matched against aggressive teams) or face against a team that's also a very controlled, methodical, slow paced objective controlled team like CLG?
If Team Liquid picks to face CLG I see Team Liquid winning 3-1. However, if TL picks Clutch I do see Clutch Gaming picking up the upset against the back-to-back-to-back NA Champions.

E Man forever1 votesConsidering how strong CLG was, I feel it’s a little unfair to make fun of Optic. I would have made a congrats post by now if Optic got reverse swept or lost to a worse opponent like TSM did.
