Anyone Else Getting Sick of Teleport?

I'm on the fence with it. Sometimes TP plays are so damn impressive but at other times they just seem so damn cheesy. I'm indifferent as to who wins between TSM vs CLG so when I see either TP plays I'm just like "....really?" It's a great way to get yourself out of a bind though when behind because trying to flank around wards can be hard.

I just remember Season 3 though when the spell wasn't freakin mandatory. You would normally use it on Tank top laners like Malphite or Shen who can't win 1v1 anyway. You trade combat prowess for map control. But now Map Control just reigns supreme. What happened? I feel like TP is even weaker then it was in Season 3 after ti's nerfs.

As a top laner I prefered the ignite meta, and I'm sure bot laner prefer not always having to deal with the enemy top laner bursting their bubble. At the same time it rectifies the Top Lane Island problem.

I think they need to at least get rid of the TP + Homeguard combo, it's waay too effective. It might make it less mandatory.
