According to kotaku and ESPN, team dignitas is not going to be allowed into the NA LCS starting next year. Riot has yet to comment why.

I made a post yesterday about it, but it's nice to see that I'm not the only person surprised by this. To go into further detail about it though, apparently there are at least 4 current LCS teams whose applications were denied (with rumors circulating that the four teams in question are NV, P1, TSM, and the aformentioned Dignitas). There's also a theory going around that much like the NBA team, the "Golden State Warriors" NALCS team will be pushing for high-end free agents along the lines of jankos/Perkz.

If DIg is out and Liquid is in... yet another strike against the dumbasses making all the decisions at Riot Game.
I'm kinda glad DIG is gone, hopefully an NA team will pick up Jankos, I really want to see him play in NA. He's my favorite jungler.
Just gonna post a quick follow-up to this, now that more news has broken. Apparently some of the rumors I heard are indeed true, and P1/NV are two more "out" teams. Article is here if anyone is interested.
