Re: My Warning to People who Might join Liquid

Before this season I warned any player considering joining Team Liquids "inventory" that they would be making a grave mistake. Well, I'm here to tell you that it's no all over yet.

Look, this split is done for. Every team in the LCS knows the Joke that Steve "DB" Anhartencent is. No one will hold it against you if you don't perform this split (unless your name starts with pig, in which case, everyone knows that guy is a washed up hasbeen). Just go through the motions. Just pretend like you're doing all you can. You will land on your feet eventually.

Yeah, it sucks to be on Liquid now. But you have yourself to blame for not really scoping out the organization previously. All you had to do was look at how DB handled the infamous "ARAM COLLUSION" incident (forcing his team to do a public apology). He doesn't stand behind his "inventory". He never will. You will only be inventory on that team.

You should aspire to being more than "inventory". You should aspire to being a respected player. Why? Because you deserve it. Because you earned it. You worked your heart out. ANd for what? To be shit talked by a hasbeen (pig) and a manager who looks at you as "inventory". Consider yourselves lucky you figured this out by now. It's time to move on if you can. I'd advise you to quit your team but DB will punish you hardcore for this and you don't have the leverage to do this.

So, go through the motions. Pretend like you care. Let the team sink even if it hurts your ego. Eventually if you belong in pro play, you will get there again.
