for the sake of esports you should stop drastically changing the game.

first of all there is a flawed reasoning behind why the game is being constantly changed.

the idea is that by changing it we keep it from getting stale.by adding random dragons, and plants, and mini games to champion kits.

the issue here is that this game cant get stale. its too complex. and each individual match is completely different from the next and previous. poker is played with a deck of 52 cards, and it is said that to this day there have not been enough poker games in the world to actually see every hand possible. meanwhile we have 133 champions, there have definitely have not been enough games played to see every possible combination.

now im not saying dont nerf and buff champions, or even change some of their skills around. no, thats not what im saying, im saying dont add or substract from the basics anymore. seriously. dont. dont change dragon types, add clunky jungle mechanics for no reason, and so on. in season 3 you had the basics of the game down already. it was all established, you just had to better balance champions and release new balanced champions and keep it that way.

now this doesnt really matter to your average bronzie, but for esports its hugely important. you cant play a sport and practice and get better at it when you have no idea what the rules of the sport will be next year. and how they might change completely to not even be remotely similar to what it is.

theres a reason why there are no major changes in football, soccer, tennis, basketball or baseball or any other sport. major changes confuse the audience, and impede the talent of the players.

the best way to make this game more interesting isnt through silly niche mechanics and mini games, its through better balancing of champions so the players show more champion pool diversity and therefore make the game more unpredictable.

Its nearly impossible to make every champion viable in the meta especially if the pros just don't want to play it. Also if all champions would be played on the pro stage then the effect on the bronze-platinum level would make some champions way to overpowered like complaints I always hear in bronze all chat about katarina, garen, zed, yasou, blitz etc imagine if they were buffed all of those except for zed and yas are never ever played on the pro stage and imagine if they got buffed there goes a large chunk of people the bronze/silver population and then you have gold and above which I have no idea about how it would affect them as I am a low level silver player (silver 5) but Im sure it would have some effect. So would you rather have diversity in esports diversity in the games we play or have the pros play on a totally different patch with nerfs and buffs accordingly to each champion to make them all "viable"

The main issue with champ balance is the runes and masteries. These two factors kills the game balance to happen. Remember how crazy strong Thunderlords was the moment it hit the game. Everyone used it and it was OP as hell. Also Riot spent over 9 months trying to balance the key stones then they got it to a place that they dont break the game. When you add in a way to have your champ be buffed for free due to a mastery mixed with runes and a champ can go god tier because of one very small tweak.
