it goes along way in modeling, stripping and other professions that are based on that

if sex sells and riot was worried about that then why are all their shout caster guys talking about a game played by 100% males and by an audience of id say 75% males from ages 12-26 for the majority

I would guess that in this case we are both correct. Yes an interviewer or caster or anything does need an understanding of the game, which is way more complex than any pro sport. I'll give you that. But I would guess that Riot purposely looked for females with enough knowledge to get a female face on their product...both for the sex appeal and for the female players (yes, there are some).

when i mention the 100% players are male im talking about those who are playing the pro game...

the last pro female player was a thresh support main for RNG who was Remilia

there was a team at one point , team siren , who was all female

but the pro scene is 100% male player

Interviewers are selected based on thier merits and knowledge of the subject matter. Not because they are attractive. That's the Mentality of a teenage boy which doesn't translate well into Business

and most of that is to draw in the FEMALE VIEWER so they have something to relate too

for years it was all males every where but strangely alot of their viewer ship wasnt females HMMM

Yea, that's why they are all beautiful. I would wager that they use it for both male and female viewers, as Riot probably does as well. I mean Sjoks isn't hard on the eyes.

Couldn't/shouldn't the same logic apply to the LCS? A decent portion of gamers are girls, yet there's not a single female face to be seen in the NA LCS.

The EU LCS has Sjokz (who has done everything but casting the games), but the NA LCS can't find any girl who's capable of any job? We see referees, and there's probably women in the camera crews, make-up teams, sound crews, and other aspects of the production, but they're not a visible figure in the event.

I agree that the OP wanting just another pretty face in front of the camera is the wrong direction to look at this from, but this is far from the only time a lack of female faces in the LCS has been commented on, and it won't be the last until something changes.

im not against it... no where ( i hope) in my comments suggested that... i was just stating the fact to have a girl just to google at cuz she is pretty isnt qualifications enough for the position

im all for there being pro female players , coaches etc ... but just like most competitive things it tends to be a male dominated world.
