High level play is kinda boring to watch.

Lately, I've been watching lcs less and have gotten really bored when I do. There isn't much excitement going on and very few actual fights.

Admittedly, this is due to the high skill of the players, taking the most efficient route to victory. But it's getting ridiculous how rare action happens. In bronze, it's a bloodbath of utter stupidity, but it's enjoyable to watch.

In other esport genres like fighting game or RTS the act of high play is a spectacle behold. But in this game, the good parts are 2-3 minutes of awesome in 20-40 mins of nothing.

And I'm a league player...

I dread to think what people who don't play think of this.

From someone who came from a fighting game esport roots and into the Season 3 WC without playing the game, my interest personally came from the different aspect that MOBA Esports provides.

Many claim the boredom to come from the limited champion pool players run or the feast or famine that plays are in the higher level of play. Same goes in fighting games to a degree. "Why doesn't anyone use Ryu anymore?" That one's a bit obvious though.

Back to League, to compare to Bronze is fine but one really has to think about what a Bronze Ranked game is compared to playing competitively on stage. Not everyone is mechanically profound, mistakes and overextending exists more prominently. So on so forth.

There's a lot of variables about what differentiates between Bronze thru Challenger vs Clash/Tournament vs Pro Play. It's a lot to address but I understand the boredom fans feel.
