Varus mids incoming solo queue.

Good. i was about to buy my favorite skin, Arctic ops varus. Guess not anymore. Riot balance according LCS so if any champion is played in lcs, either hes nerfed to oblivion or rarely buffed. Because... logic doesnt exist nowadays. Meanwhile

As a counter pick it was a great choice, Kalista can't deal with 3 tanks either.

A squishy ADC? ON my mid? Someone's going to be happy.

And I was just wondering if they would do some crazy picks for the fans, or take it seriously and win the game. Looks like they did both. xD

I'm surprised by the Manamune pickup on him though, that item has very little synergy with his kit (it doesn't apply on any of his abilities at all, Varus doesn't need tons of mana even when going full AD poke build, and it leaves him very weak early game when Varus usually is pressing his lane bully advantage).

I think either a more typical AD build or an AP build would have been much better in that match, but hey, they won with it anyway...

Unicorns can be damn proud of their showing these Playoffs. So can Fnatic, but they weren't nearly as fabulous.
