FQ is being serious, the problem is that the other teams have understood how to counter them, a very simple strategy
Stop Hai and you are going to stop FQ.
No FQ players is individually top notch on his own, so what they have to rely on is better macro. And Hai is the one that is managing them. Beat him in the 1 vs 1 or through team effort, and if he is pressured hard he lose focus so the entire team goes down a notch
Just notices it, EVERY SINGLE TIME they lose, Hai is having a bad game. It is not like Bjergsen, Froggen, Arrow, Lira, etc... that he can have a good game and still lose. If Hai can shotcall with relative calm, he can lead below average players to overcome stronger eneimes, otherwise he is the first to suffer and all the other follow
FQ is the team that is the most dependent in the world on a single player
Or they're just not as good as people thought they were? FlyQuest started off hot and fans started to lose their minds but if you actually just look at who they were facing. ( Team Envyus, Team Liquid, CLG, Echo Fox, Dignitas, Immortals, Phoenix One )
13-5 First half of the split. NV- The last place team 2-0 GJ TL - This team has so many problems it's actually surprising it took FQ 3 games to beat them. CLG - It's CLG they always suck at the start of every year. 2-0 EF - They actually lost to them 1-2 DIG - During the time Keane was doing his best Froggen farm 24/7 impression. IMT - meh P1 - The only surprising win but when the team has Inori instead of Meteos it's more obvious why FQ beat them.
5-15 Second half of the split.
Balls - Has been falling off since he came into the league back in 2013 Summer, each split has gotten worse. Moon- No idea how or why this guy is currently in 2nd place for the MVP but ok......... Rito logic I suppose. Hai - 1v9 just about every game, hasn't ever been a great mid in his career and it's showing. Altec- Sucks in teamfighting and can only farm that's about it. Lemon- Same as Balls he's past his due.
FQ are still a decent team but they have ok-mediocre players at "TIMES" with weird cheesy picks that has gotten old.
Reminds me of the LAL when they had Dwight Howard - the team started off ok and fans before the season was hyping them up with Hai being Kobe Bryant but even with meh players Hai/Kobe can't carry the team.
