As a TSM fan I'd like to apologize to TSM....

You guys really really struggled if this tournament. You got used to letting Dyrus play champs w/ utility who could save/improve a fed Turtle and Bjergsen, and when the strategy of focus the bottom two lanes and get them ahead fell apart so did the team's chance of winning. As a fan, it sucks to see you struggle so hard, and to know that it wasn't a cheese strategy or something unpreventable that beat you, but just getting beat.

However, I'd like to apologize that you'll lose some fans over this and catch a bunch of flak that you don't deserve. I started playing in season 2 and the guides on TSM were the most helpful I could find at the time. Your website is where I went to learn how to play this game because I had no idea what half the stuff did (I played Amumu in lane for at least 20 games before I even asked what the little monsters in between the lanes were for, I swear I thought they were just for decoration). As such, I started rooting for y'all because I liked the brand and will root for you in NA whether you are winning or losing. When you're one of the top teams though, and suddenly you get crushed a lot of people hop off the band wagon. That sucks, and I hope that TSM fans can realize yeah, the team you like isn't as strong as you thought hey were, but if that's all that matters, just get the icon of whoever wins MIS and worlds, and pretend you rooted for them all season. If you're a real fan, hope that the team learns from this and takes the lesson of what went horribly wrong here back to NA and gets better in the summer split so maybe they will have a decent showing at worlds. Chin up TSM, you got this, some of your fans will stick around even if it's just hoping you learn from this. Maybe we will even get lucky and people will stop talking so much shit and making it an insult to be a TSM fan since everyone just assumes you're rooting for them only bc they are a strong team.

As a TSM fan you should be apologizing to everyone for your obnoxious chanting when TSM does absolutely anything, and then the dead silence when they lose. Show some respect to other teams.

They will get better. All of NA will get better eventually. We may be the slowest region to catch on but in time we will adapt to the aggressive style of play and possibly even capture a world title for our region. Teams like TSM, C9, CLG and others who have been around for many LCS splits will eventually adapt as new blood enters the scene. Just look back to how much TSM has grown since C9 joined LCS and shook up our stale meta. Our challenger scene has some solid potential in it, not just for themselves but what they will teach our seasoned teams. We will have our spotlight on the international stage one day. That day just wasn't today. Hopefully TSM will really learn from this event an use this as a serious learning experience and grow our region with it.

i was rooting for tsm when i started in season 3 even tho they got destroyed hard by c9 then when col entered the scene i mean you cant help but too root for the troll team but tsm was always my favorite cause they have personality but this loss is just unacceptable it reallly looks like there not trying there wasnt even any normal hey you camp dyrus while we get objectives and kills elsewhere it was hey camp dyrus while we watch fed adcs come in our lane and honestly idk why people camp dyrus he doesnt play carry champions he plays tank champions it seems like its not so much dyrus getting shutdown as much as its tsm not doing anything like they didnt execpt dyrus to get camped or something but even the dyrus proxy farm he did there it just makes you thing W T F?

I was cheering for TSM because they were the NA representative, but I can't apologize for being flustered, because this is literally nothing new.

Long before Bjergson was even known (or playing LoL) teams were camping Dyrus, as TSM's jungler (TheOddOne) would camp Regi, and always seemed to be on the opposite side of the map from Dyrus. This was before the 2v1 lane swaps was really even a thing, but he would get focused down constantly, especially at international tournaments.

The fact that TSM plays the exact same way, getting punished for the exact same things, expecting Mid to carry and fall apart if it doesn't, shows they aren't learning from past mistakes within their own team, with the same top laner. While I don't blame Dyrus, the team really needs to stop playing selfishly (Dryus has said straight up, in one of those video series on Youtube, that Bjergson gets all angry and, as Dyrus worded it "starts crying and whining" if he doesn't get most of the attention.). TSM needs to start playing more like a team and less like it is literally team solo mid with no one but their mid being important.

We already knew SKT, and EDG were good, AHQ was a surprise but I cant degrade there success.

The only one that is unfortunate is Fnatic cheesing that win, it is pretty sure that was Fnatic only goal this whole time.

Fnatic will not do well in the best of 5 if they play like they have been, they have not been that impressive.

I apologize to TSM for people continuing to blow sunshine up their rears, when it's obvious they need a HUGE change. TSM needs to tear down their roster and rebuild it completely. What they're doing now isn't working even remotely. At least Fnatic gave SKT a run for their money. TSM got completely destroyed. Putting stars in their eyes isn't going to make them better. They needed a good humbling.

why are your saying sry for other people? What gives you the responsibility of this? I am pretty sure the people that are flaky did not ask you to do this.

TSM got what it deserves in MSI. They have been punished in every international event for sacrificing Dyrus. TSM has plays the game as a 4 man team that occasionally get help from a outsider. TSM refuses to learn the lesson instead they just hope dyrus can adapt a new champ to their current style. Why they would force a 2v1 situation when in the last split they were not great at them as a team is pure idiocy.

The real fans of TSM will stay with them no matter what. I am not a TSM fan but i wanted them to have decent showing. They were our regions representatives and with the way they played we should of just sent CLG. TSM did worse than let there fans down, they look like they did not take MSI seriously in planning and did a disservice to the region they ended up representing. The players of NA did not have a choice who was going to represent them, so those that go need to have their heads in the game. No one expected TSM to win(though it was a dream goal) MSI, but everyone did expect them to get out of groups.

So what you are seeing is not TSM fans turning their back on a team. You are seeing a region that is highly upset with people that were representing them.
