MaRin left SKT to join LGD and how sad; also guys....Stop making Gold 5/Plat Evil change his name

Like whoever coming up with these ridiculous name for him is so fuck up, hes wasting his monthly payment on changing his IGN into something no one can make fun of him LOL

Hes not even thinking on how to get better anymore, hes thinking on what kind of Name will fit him on Stage

Gold 5 ---> Plat Evil ---> We1less

But back to MaRin, he left SKT into a team that doesn't even want him as a starter. In fact they have 2 other Top laner.

Is there any reason why he left SKT to join LGD? How much did LGD offer MaRin?

I mean if you are able to win more money by winning in LCS, LCK, LPL or whatever. Why did he left SKT? Wouldn't he earn more if he stay and win more with SKT than going to LGD and lose. I even heard that LCK take these kind of game so seriously that they give their players good amount of money, but if Korean players are leaving to play for LPL, China must be throwing in a lot of money more than what an average Korean team would pay for a single players

(Faker offered 1 million $ by a Chinese team)

So I'm guessing Korean players in LPL are getting paid more than they lose, that why they agree to leave LCK for LPL. Or thing just doesn't make sense.

Because he didnt want to deal with Faker anymore and standing in his shadow

That was Easyhoon, not MaRin.

Same counts for Marin

MaRin never said that though, he was the MVP of Worlds, not really in anyone's shadow.

Yeah but people didnt really care bout him being the MVP, they also said its because Faker gets 1000% attention from every team Marin can just clean up..

And no Marin himself never said it but it was Senpai Thoorin who brought it up.

And Faker adapted a low resource playstyle to negate the focus. MaRin played well, he still played with mistakes, like his matchup against Smeb in game three. Faker is a better player than him, but he steps back so MaRin can destroy. If MaRin never said it or confirmed then its at best a plausibility.

Marin probably got paid a shit ton to join LGD. The owner is wealthy and Marin's stock was through the roof after worlds. Its not like he didn't know what he was getting into seeing the performance of China before worlds. So I would guess after winning Two LCK splits and Worlds he's got nothing left to prove, so he took the money and ran.

The differnce between him and Faker as far as high salary offers is that Faker is basically the face of SKT LoL. He is making more staying part of that organization than he would be going to China.
