From a Neutral NA perspective, this worlds coverage seemed biased towards a G2 victory.
Riot commentators spent more time hyping G2 and even brought the owner on stage to talk.

I felt the complete opposite. They were stroking FPX as soon as game 1 started.

G2 had won both domestics tourneys, and MSI while also beating 2 korean teams on way to finals one of which being SKT. We all know the Korean Hype train, so its to be expected G2 would get a lot of love even more so with it being in Europe.
