Renegades name confusion

While i was reading this i noticed that Renegades seem to have the abbreviation REN

I thought they were going with RNG for the abbreviation, when did this change?

Because in China there is Royal Never Give up team that took the RNG tag, so Renegades had to change their tag in REN for LCS games
