Seriously, for a #1 seed, you lost to a brazilian team. You couldn't win vs KOO or FW despite being a favored to win.
This is why most people hated the fact that CLG won #1 seed. They are TOOOO inconsistent. They couldn't win the easiest group. Yet, TSM, and C9 are out performing them despite having much tougher opponents.

Milleinia2 votesAs a CLG fan, yes I'm disappointed with today's games ( I expected the Koo game loss but not everything afterwards :c I learned that clg don't do so well against morgana in general) BUT I'm glad they made it this far as a team overrall, so what they lost group stage at least they made it to world's won first in Summer split and did a decent job their first week IN the world competition ever. They'll learn from their mistakes and have a chance to try again next split. Also I would not say TSM is doing better than CLG, unless they miraculously make it out of group stage. But for now I'll hop on the Haipe train for world's or just pick a team I like more later for West (EU/Na whatever).
As a CLG fan <3 I'm glad I was able to see the golden age happen even if it did come to a stop early on

Don't act like that game meant anything, win or lose CLG got nothing out of it, both team didn't seem to really care about the game honestly. PaiN did seem to try harder with the picks tho.

They went to world in S1, that wasn't their debut.
Plus PaiN isn't a bad team at all, BR teams are catching up and I wouldn,t be suprised if PaiN was to come out of groups next year if they keep the same roster and fix their mistakes. They are very good if anything and would be a lot of both EU and NA team in their current state.

No offense.. but it looked like they "relaxed" the last FOUR games.
On past history and form, I would have put their bot lane in the top 5 at worlds, and the only duo who under-performed more was that toxic waste dump from LGD.
Zion is a little harder to categorize but certainly I would have placed him in top 1/2 of the top laners. He also had a really BAD worlds.
There is no way to spin the team's performance as anything but a disappointment.
anding1 votesyou do realize that regional seeding has no effect whatsoever on the team's performance in Worlds right? SKT could come in 3rd in Korea and still wreck everyone. Origen is actually #3 in EU and yet is still dominating its group.
