Why are so people sour at H2K
They outperformed ANX in lane and picks.
It's as if people wanted EU to lose so people can look down on them for losing to a wildcard team

People, especially from NA just don't want to admit that EU is still substantially better than NA and has been at almost any point throughout the history of League. If H2K had lost to ANX these would be the people claiming they did nothing and only got through off of an easy group, despite the fact that neither EDG or AHQ actually looked weak.
Basically Americans want to be able to say "we're not the best, but we're still better than you" and H2K winning means that they can't do that without looking like fools.
Because after NA went up in smoke, there was no one else for NA fans to cheer for except the wild card team.
Because now instead of it being 3 Korean teams i dont give a shit about and a wildcard team who i want to win because fuck the Korean Fanboys, it's 4 teams i dont give a shit about. Im just pretty pissed that H2K killed my fun.

I think it's more about people rooting for the wild card cinderella story Also H2K had the easiest way to the semi final, they have yet to play a korean team lastly Forgiven is just a drama douchebag cant stand that guy
all that said it doesnt excuse the behavior of the NA crowds at worlds way to embrace the stereotype that all MURIKANS are poor sportsman sore losers who just mindlessly chant TSM and USA even though you choked at worlds... again
On the one hand H2K was relatively lucky with the draws But on the other hand H2K got all the wins fair and square.
But as for salt... CLG got an easy group, considering how poorly G2 played. And TSM's group was not bad either. Yet both failed to get out of groups...
All this NA vs EU crap. "Let's argue over who's second worst." lol
Nah, I think people wanted to see a Wilcard team really shake up Worlds. Plus they use more off meta picks so it's more fun to watch. (though they didnt really do that vs H2K).
I have actually never seen a more hostile fanbase than H2K going in to quarters. NA was pretty mean to EU after the first week as is customary but H2K fans pre-quarters were being extremely douchey and toxic so i wouldve much rather ANX won just because I like them and their fanbase more.

I can't speak for others, but honestly I just wanted to see a wildcard team make it far in the tournament, especially once C9 was out. I didn't want H2K to lose so much as I wanted ANX to win. Obviously I can't speak for everyone, but that's my thoughts at least.
