When you know there's a superior race that is better in certain (E)Sport, you hired them, its not just something that happen in League.

China themselves and maybe other Countries that play Sport like Basketball hired American players to play for their team.

Population Europe 741 million.
Population United States 327 million.

Further it isn't just population that counts. It's how many are playing the game. EUNE is about as big as NA and EUW is 1.5 times as big. So on a player base basis, EU is 2.5 the size of NA. That's a huge advantage to EU.

We have to hire Korean players to be competitive. EU has 2.5 times the player base we do. Further, what strength we do have as a region is not spread over all 5 positions necessitating foreign players. Further, pretty much the best players in EU all got on G2 and formed a superteam. The rest of EU is weaker for it.
