CG vs TSM
Can I just say... thank you for showing us how olaf is supposed to work and that thresh is not dead?
Can't say enough about how exciting this series was. Most games you see tanks just getting blown up or taking literally 0 damage (no in-between) and olaf popping ult to run away from a failed fight or from getting picked off. You see thresh just kind of standing around awkwardly most of the game with maybe 2-3 nice plays the entire game. But not this series. Olaf proved why he's a feared jungle pick. Thresh showed that even when you counter-pick him support-wise, he can still carry his lane. And clutch showed us that teamplay, conviction, and patience mixed with full on committed engages to either a teamfight or an objective pays off. No backing off cuz they other team spots you at baron.... if they wanna try to stop your 5 man baron with only 4 people... let them try.
A last great thing I want to mention is the interview after the match. Classy. Febiven had the chance to roast Bjergsen for what he said, but instead, he humbly avoided the setup he was given to do so and gave all credit to his team. That speaks volumes. Wasn't particularly a fan of this team before, but the way they won and how humble they seemed to be afterwards... I wouldn't complain if they won it all and/or represent us at worlds in the fall if they keep up that kind of attitude and play.
Hopefully this is a wakeup call to the NA scene - make some plays. Stop playing to not-lose and start playing to win - like Clutch did. And be a force for good.
