What do you HATE about LCS? Why?

One thing i hate about LCS is the fact that literally all of the teams use the SAME champs over and over again... Sivir, Kalista, Azir, Reksai ect. It just seems so repetitive and it gets really boring when they're seen throughout almost every game. I kind of wish that the LCS was composed of unique players that used unique champions. The odd time you may see someone new which is kind of refreshing but its pretty much the same bs champions over and over again. Do you agree? What do you think?

I do not like how some commentators will favor one team over another. It particularly isn't in the LCS, but after watching several VOD's for the LPK, I have noticed one commentator in particular who will focus on one strategic error that a team will make and just rant about it all game. Example, I recently watched a game between SKT 1 and Jin Air and one commentator just kept ranting about how Rengar was a bad pick for their jungle. Last I checked they are the Pro's playing the game, if they felt like it was a good pick then go with it. Just don't trash talk their entire strategy the whole game. At 16 minutes the commentator said "Jin Air could not come back into the game UNLESS SKT allowed them to". There was only a 1k gold discrepancy between the two teams with one dragon to SKT and a mid turret in SKT's favor.... Now I am the one ranting! :P. Montecrisco is the guys name I believe. "Faker this, Faker that". Gah it gets so annoying! Get your rocks off on someone else!

I hate the fact that the picks are very constant. It should be that you can't play two same champs a week

You must not understand or like the strategics behind the game. If you knew why they pick them how it works whats good what they are missing its actually really fun. I dont like how they play best of ones over two days, anyone can win a best of one and some teams always lose the first games and come out strong, takes away from the competitiveness

Because its like you're watching the same game every single time. Same champs, same strats, most of the "plays" are just normal plays anyone can do

Also, LCS is literally PVE. Stalemate for the first 30 minutes. All they do is farm minions and they never even touch each other.

And I find it really corny how the casters are all like OH MY GOD AZIR PRESSED Q AND HE SLOWED 2 CHAMPIONS OH MY GOD -insert screaming-

I don't hate anything about it, but I really wish they'd switch to a more competitive format. The best of 2s that other regions use work well for giving a better sample of team's competitive state.

Edit: As to your point OP... if you want random people playing random champs, spectate random games. If you want the best of the best playing the best of the best... .watch the pro leagues.

Things I like about LCS:

  • Can see quite the difference between a Challenger play than a Bronze play(where people can learn lots).
  • Strategic plays seen.
  • Interesting pick comps, especially new ones whom they help to increase popularity with, like XinZhao Nocturne Shen
  • "My God, they buy lots of wards!! Awesome!!! Meanwhile, my team.........fk, even my support Yasuo doesnt buy Sightstone.....".

Things I hate about LCS:

  • Gets boring every time with the same constant picks over & over.
  • People tend to be LCS-wannabes, and then screws up the game a lot, especially people trying Mid Ezreal Smite.
  • LCS sometimes would create abusable strategies for people to copycat, such as permasnare Ryze, leading to multiple future games unfun for opposing champs.

I hate LCS because I'm not in it.

  1. No Bo3s in NA/EU
  2. Too easy for teams from other regions to infiltrate another (lookin at NA, here)
  3. Under-representation of the wildcard regions

People playing as champions they saw thinking they can pull the same thing but end up feeding,

dzer07/5/2015, 8:05:02 AM1 votes

they should just not allow the same champion being played in the same match twice it feels like every game is top: maokai vs heca mid: azir vs viktor bot: here i think its actually quite diverse but these lane seem to be quite uninteresting jungle: reksai vs gragas

I hate the fact that one team is usually dominant over all the others. Right now, EU is just a Fnatic stompfest and NA, while starting out interesting, is back to it's normal boring self with TSM in 1st and CLG throwing hard after a good start

It might have something to do with game balance... Not sure though...
