Anyone loving the variety that is this split?

Last split was almost a repeat of the same champions every game, and occasionally they would trade teams.

This split I got excited seeing Fizz played competitive, along with Jax, and Irelia, and Olaf, and all the newly updated mages

I feel like almost anything could happen. One game i was watching, they hovered over Teemo and I hoped and prayed they would actually lock in, because I get excited when odd or new picks get scooped up during the regular season and not just Immortals throw away finals....Urgot mid, Lucian top, rageblade Tristana.....

First off on the Teemo hover, a lot of players often hover over weird/oddball champions that they have no intentions of ever playing.

But yes, I love the variety. Currently there isn't too much variety in the jungle though. Rek'Sai #1. I would love to see a bunch of different junglers.

Confused as to what you mean by "Variety", as only about a third of the total characters have actually been used (even then, some of them happening only once or twice like tristana/lulu).

It feels like viktor, ryze, vlad, azir, karma and reksai are still way to common. At least reksai fell out of favor for awhile and karma/vlad just recently became a top tier pick. However, viktor, ryze and azir have been top tier mid laners for way to long now.

Loving the variety for supports, as a support main at least. The likes of Braum still stays around, but there have definitely been several champions that we (NA) pretty made the meta with, such as Bard, Nami, Soraka, Zyra (From NA S3 originally, no complaints), Karma etc. The recent Cassio picks does shake it the mid lane in a postive way for me. I'm more than thrilled at the adc changes from either Ezreal or Lucian to others, such as Caitlyn, Ashe, Sivir, Twitch sometimes... Top has definitely become more diverse as well, now that Irelia has some play coming in. Jungle, though, hasn't changed that much, but the recent picks of Hecarim in both JG and Top have made games interesting. I haven't seem him played since early Season 5. Definitely for the next oddball pick ;)
